I have counted calories and macros, done intermittent fasting, and many other short-term fixes. I was once very active and fit, even as a busy mom of 3. Life caught up with me quickly the last few years, through big changes, family struggles, and an injury that limited my ability to workout in the way I was used to. I turned to food and alcohol as a way to cope with the stress and developed a "screw it" attitude. Underneath all of that, though, was a deep longing and desire to change. A constant battle in my mind wanted to make a change, but I lacked the confidence I needed to follow through. I searched online for an accountability coach. I have a background in fitness and didn't feel I needed guidance with workouts or nutrition; what I needed was someone to hold me accountable. I also doubted that I would be able to actually reach my goals because it would get "too hard." I had been dealing with a foot and ankle injury combined with mental health issues for a couple of years and felt hopeless in many ways. I didn't want to add to my list of failures. But I hoped to find someone who could empathize with me, encourage me, and walk with me through my struggles, but at the same time challenging me. After 5 months, I have lost 25 pounds and found a new confidence and control around food! I don't restrict myself. I have simply learned better habits and portion control. I can hear Adam, Haley, and my coach, Heather, in my head on most days now! During my time with MyBodyTutor, I had major foot surgery and was unable to do much activity for 12 weeks. Part of why I joined was because I didn't want to allow myself to use that as an excuse to keep gaining weight. I am so proud of myself for being able to lose weight during that time, and I can now enter maintenance and work on building up lost muscle mass from my inactivity. The daily feedback on the app from your personal coach is invaluable. It is a REAL person on the other side of the screen. MyBodyTutor doesn't focus on just what you are eating or when. It looks at your life as a whole—your activity level, what is happening in your life, how you FEEL that day, and more. Progress is tracked on so many levels. I appreciated being able to look at inspiring articles and messages from Adam and Haley in the app on days I was really struggling. The weekly emails reinforced what I was learning on a daily basis and really helped me stay or get back on track. The financial commitment of joining MyBodyTutor is 100% worth the return on your investment. You are investing in your long-term health, and the lessons you learn along the way will last a lifetime. If you are torn between paying for personal training or MyBodyTutor, MyBodyTutor is the choice you need to make! It WILL change your mindset.

I was overly frustrated before starting MyBodyTutor. I'd start a weight-loss program and not be able to stick with it over the long term. I'd give up and think I'd never meet success. It felt impossible for me to lose and keep off a SINGLE pound. After struggling with several different weight-loss programs over the years (I'm now 53), I went online and discovered MyBodyTutor. What seemed different with MyBodyTutor was that it was specifically working on the psychological aspects of getting to a healthier weight by forming new habits, encouraging better food choices, and having daily accountability. It seemed to be a safe, efficient, and manageable way to take control of my eating, making me feel empowered. My hope was that this would be the perfect fit for me, especially with the personal coach. My relationship with my coach empowered me throughout my weight loss journey. I was hesitating initially because, in my mind, effective weight loss could only work by seeing another in person and then being weighed in front of them in order for me to be accountable. I was wrong. This program taught me that I held the power to trust myself, embrace accountability for my progress, and have confidence in my food choices. I was a member of Weight Watchers over the years, meeting success inconsistently. The difference with MyBodyTutor was the daily coaching and accountability offered as instrumental to the program. The 1:1 coaching and daily food logs sent me on a path to successfully achieve and maintain a healthy weight going forward. In addition, MyBodyTutor encouraged other healthy daily living habits, like the amount of activity, emotional effects on my choices, gratefulness, and sleep. This combination was so comprehensive and logical that I was able to envision myself at a healthy weight soon after starting the program. My personal coach, daily food accountability, and positive and constructive feedback on my food and activity choices make MyBodyTutor different from other programs. The motivational emails and videos were an added bonus. I'm now an ambassador for MyBodyTutor and am spreading the word to family and friends. I lost 35 pounds in under a year. I actually like the way I look in clothes and feel regularly more consistently in control of my food choices. I've been on weight-loss programs for over 30 years. Never before have I received such amazing daily support during a weight loss journey. The time and investment in MyBodyTutor resulted in a new, healthier version of myself and I am grateful. I know I have MyBodyTutor's support going forward, and that is comforting and makes all my hard work at MyBodyTutor worth it.

Body Tutor is a great way to learn about mindful eating. To me the approach is gentle and not overwhelming. There are no 'bad' foods nor pressure to follow a strict plan. Guilt is non-existent because guilt never motivated anyone for the long term. Body Tutor is teaching me to is listen to my body and be willing to be comfortable with a little bit of 'uncomfortable' at times. The food tracking app is user friendly and extremely helpful. My coach has great ideas and is positive with my progress even when I mess up! The videos with Adam and Haley are motivating without taking a lot of time. Honestly, I have stopped binge eating almost entirely and that is one of my main goals at this time in my journey to a healthier me. Susan M

My Body Tutor has been the best thing for me. After trying so many diets and fad's I doubted anything would work but I gave it a shot and it did. I learned so much about my eating habits and ways not to eliminate my favorite foods but limit and add nutrition to them. My coach was amazing and always pushing and encouraging me. I can not say enough about the entire program and the weekly videos that always seemed to hit home with thoughts I was having. Knowing I wasn't alone seemed to give me that extra push. I would recommend to anyone who feels like there is no hope. Give it a try!

Adam's MyBodyTutor was a game-changer for me. It exposed the habits that sabotaged my health and fitness efforts. It taught me accountability for my choices and led me to learn healthy nutrition, movement and mindset habits. While working with my coach Alyson has been a short time, I am confident that the lessons and fruits of the experience will power me to health and fitness. I hope to consolidate the gains for a better, healthier, fitter me. Thank you, Adam and Alyson.

I've tried to start cooking my own food and having a routine that went to the grocery store before. I've had a mental block around deprivation, not knowing how to cook, and just generally feeling like it was more time than restaurants and delivery. I couldn't convince myself to get over that hump and make the decision to turn it into a routine. I heard about MyBodyTutor through the My First Million podcast and my friend Ujwal. I did have some doubts, though. The biggest was saying, "Do I really need someone checking in on me," I should be able to just do this. I was shaming myself for something that was a block. I was hoping that I could have a more consistent and healthy relationship with making my own food. I'm a full-time digital nomad, and my diet has been constricted by what's within a ten-minute walk or Uber Eats from me. Sometimes that's been great (but expensive), and sometimes it's been awful. I wanted more control. I met my goal, and I'm cooking 66+% of breakfast and lunches and 33% of dinners. If you're considering this, it's because you have a bigger block than you're willing to admit. The first time I went into a grocery store, I went with my new girlfriend, and I ended up crying. We talked it out, but essentially, food meant so much more than I realized. My family never had dinners or cooked together. I'm the only non-obese member of my family. We'd never enjoyed grocery shopping, and we fought over unhealthy food to eat it faster. I had never learned how to even grocery shop, and the only cooking I'd done was from The 4-Hour Chef. I had also tried being able to eat out as an indulgence I deserved for working so hard. I didn't realize those things until I was really being pushed over it with support. MyBodyTutor helped me face all that, and it will make a massive difference in your life. So if you're considering it, take a leap.

Joining MyBodyTutor was one of the best decisions I have made. I knew I wanted to change my eating habits. In fact, I had no eating habits! There was no consistency in what I ate on a daily basis. I struggled with emotional eating or eating just out of boredom. After a year and a half, I now have consistent eating habits. I know what portions I need and what foods work for me and how to stick to that. I couldn’t have done this without my coach at MyBodyTutor working closely with me, helping me figure out what works and what doesn’t. There are different kinds of coaches at MyBodyTutor to help you with your specific goals. It took trial and error to find the right coach for me. Finding the right coach was very important for me and was a game changer for my health and goals. My coach familiarized herself with my eating patterns and triggers and got to know me very closely as a person, which was all tied to what I was eating and how I was eating. I have successfully re-learnt how to eat and how to navigate some triggers such as emotional eating. I now eat food for fuel instead of “using” food as a stress buster or feeling better. Slowly building consistent food habits with my coach was key for me. Thank you for providing thIs service.

I've tried dieting on my own, Weight Watchers, working out constantly...I was just so disappointed in myself. I knew I could do better. I felt like in all other areas of my life I was strong and successful, but when it came to food, I always let myself down. What I was missing were the daily check-ins, the accountability, and the encouragement. When I found MyBodyTutor, I was hopeful but had some doubts, too. My fear was that this would not work and I'd be in the same position. I struggled with consistency over time. I hoped I would lose 10-15 lbs, but I ended up losing 23 lbs and was at a weight I could not ever remember being at. I lost about 9 lbs more than I expected to...some people told me I looked too thin...for over a year. When I felt I was backsliding over the holidays, I re-joined for 2 months just to get back to my good habits. I am back where I want to be and will continue to call on MyBodyTutor if I need more support. What I loved about the program was the daily check-in and the positive feedback. Even when I messed up or didn't stick to my plan, the tutors were supportive and encouraged me to keep going. I loved the saying - "you have the discomfort of skipping the cookie now or the discomfort of your jeans not fitting...but you're going to have some discomfort, so pick which one is more important." Being overweight is not good for us...physically, mentally, emotionally. If you're like me, it bleeds over into other areas of your life and makes us doubt ourselves and our self-worth. It's not rocket science to figure out what to do; it is challenging to do it consistently. MyBodyTutor sticks with you and gives you the support to keep going. Invest in yourself...commit to however long it takes and keep reaching out when you need the support. You are worth it!!!

Can't say enough about MyBodyTutor, Adam, and Abby, my coach. They showed up in my life at just the right time, spoke directly to my needs and issues, and were non-judgmental and encouraging. I had a hard time succeeding at first, because who doesn't? But they stuck with me and eventually I found my motivation and succeeded in losing weight. I feel I have the right motivation and tools to succeed moving forward and feel comfortable navigating this on my own.

I was nervous about joining Body Tutor, but it changed my life. I lost 10 lbs. and gained tools that will last me a lifetime. I learned how to decipher whether I'm hungry or want to use food to self-soothe. Jessica was an amazing coach. She offered actionable solutions when I was struggling and would even look at restaurant menus to help me pick healthier choices when I knew I was going out to eat. I recommend Body Tutor to anyone trying to lose weight or who wants a better relationship with food.

I had tried WW, Metabolic Research, and Keto, just to name a few, but what was missing was addressing the emotional side of my eating and drinking habits. I never thought I could make it to my goal weight. It was just too hard, too stressful, too everything. But when I saw a flyer for MyBodyTutor, I was hopeful that I could lose at least 10 pounds. Through MyBodyTutor, I was introduced to intermittent fasting. Not only have I lost 10+ pounds, but I also feel better than ever. I'll likely keep doing IF from here on out. What makes this program different is that it's not a band-aid; it gets to the root cause of overeating. Also, my coach, Amy, was the best. She balanced using encouragement, accountability, and tough love to get me to my goal.

Before I came to MyBodyTutor, I was always yo-yo dieting and didn't know how to stay in shape. I'd diet, lose weight, and then lose momentum and put it back on (or more). I signed up for MBT after seeing the progress made by a friend of mine. I asked for his secret, and he introduced me to MBT. I signed up for the highest level and began having daily accountability calls. The calls were extremely helpful because they kept me in check and gave me the motivation to make better food choices knowing I'd have to talk about why I ate what I ate the next day. A year and a half later, I have reduced body fat, put on a significant amount of muscle, look better, feel better, and have more energy, and more confidence. The biggest win is that I've managed to keep this up for a year and a half, which I'd never done in the past. MBT helped me form new habits that will last for life, which will be much longer now that I live a healthier lifestyle.

I am actually a really healthy person. I am a runner and was eating fairly healthy. I didn't have that much weight to lose, but the ten pounds I wanted to lose seemed stuck. I wasn't having success getting rid of it and had kind of decided that I just needed to learn to be happy at that weight. I am aging and thought that I was at a point in life where I could be happy with where I was. I learned about MyBodyTutor from reading Gretchen Rubin's book. I am a huge fan of hers and felt that it was worth taking a look at if she recommended it. Before starting, my hopes were to develop healthy habits that I could stick with throughout my life. I was a bit worried about spending the money and wasn't confident that I would get the results I was hoping for. I am the world's biggest skeptic. Part of me was sure this program wouldn't work for me, and I would be the one asking for the money-back guarantee. However, from the first day, I committed to completing all parts of the day-to-day check-ins and recordings that were available. I was so surprised because it did work. The involvement of my tutor was the biggest part of my success. Not only did she provide me with feedback on what I was eating, but she also helped me with strategies to deal with high-stress life issues that I was going through. Without her coaching, I am confident I could easily have resorted to using food to deal with the emotional impact of these events. I didn't need to make major changes to my current habits. A few minor tweaks like increasing my vegetable intake and focusing on more whole food choices made all the difference for me. After a number of months of making healthy choices, they have become my habits as opposed to exceptions. The biggest difference between MyBodyTutor and everything else I had tried is the one on one tutoring and accountability. Hands down, my tutor was the most positive part of the program and the reason for my success. Now, I am at a weight I am perfectly happy with. My goal was to lose 10 pounds, and I have lost 15. I am more confident. I find that my workouts and running are stronger at this lower weight. My clothes fit better, and I feel lean, which benefits my overall outlook. I eat so many more unrefined foods as a result and have really upped my vegetable intake. I also have been able to end my nightly snack habit. With her expertise, I have lost not only the ten pounds I had hoped to but an additional five. I know this may not sound like much weight in the weight loss world, but I can tell you it has made a world of difference to me. I love that your program is based on research-based practices that allow individuals to live in the real world. I am thankful I found your program and believe I have embedded healthy practices into my day-to-day lifestyle and can stick with them. Thanks for all you do, all the positive messages, and most of all, for employing such a wonderful tutor.
