“As a first time chicken owner, MPC has been great to work with. I was looking for several very specific breeds and was able to locate them here and coordinate the delivery week. One chick arrived dead and after contacting the company, they immediately walked me through the process and issued a refund for the bird. Everyone I’ve conversed with has been incredibly friendly and very helpful. I would use them again in the future for other chicken orders.”

“We recieved our chicks a week ago, 8 Light Brahmas. They arrived healthy and are doing great. I opted for the chick vaccines also. I love My pet chickens customer service also. A real live person who loves chickens responded to my questons.”

“I love my new pullets.They arrived in a carrier box and the man at the post office( I live in a rural area)called and told me my " birds" had arrived.He was going to take them home that evening if I hadn't called back.Country living folks. My little hens are just beautiful and friendly and curious. I'm blessed to have a really nice chicken house and courtyard for them.Im really glad I purchased these as opposed to the ones from the feed store.They are OK with cold and hot weather.I could not be happier. Really great quality. I highly recommend”

“I have to say that the staff of My Pet Chicken are fantastic, they go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to selecting chickens. Their kindness and frankly handholding was so appreciated. I purchased four Easter Eggers! They are adorable! I was so excited when I received the message from the post office that my little babies were there. When I picked them up, they were securely in their little box, all snuggled together. It was adorable. When I took them out, they were all healthy and chirpy, happy and healthy. I introduced them to my solo Chicken Lucy, she’s a sweetie, and she took them right away. Immediately! It was a good day. I can’t thank My Pet Chicken enough..l”

“I would give 5 stars but I think shipping time could be improved. We would have paid a higher shipping fee if given the option for overnight delivery. Every other aspect of our experience is definitely 5 star. We are pleased with the 6 Pullets we purchased. All arrived healthy. The travel took its toll on them but after electrolytes, medicated chick starter feed, & rest they bounced back.”

Thank you, Valerie, for the thoughtful comments regarding your pullets! It is always our priority to send our chickens in the fastest and safest way and currently, the USPS is the only way to go. Arriving in just 1-3 days, no other carrier offers a faster shipping method! In an effort to further safeguard the birds, we do make every effort to include heat packs when needed, extra bedding, and in some cases, fruit or veggies to help them along the way. We are very glad that your pullets recovered quickly and that you were pleased with your overall experience!
