Mate that sounds like an absolute shithouse experience mate.
When you go and check the tracking you'll easily see that Australia Post F'ed up your delivery.

You're bloody right mate. You should never use Australia Post again. Go hand in your letter box in and give them a bloody serve at the the counter mate.
Even though it's Christmas and you live in a regional location, they should be bending over backwards to sort your deliveries mate.
