I purchased a new gas cooker. When it arrived and I opened the wrapping, the back was caved in and the top was gouged out. Obviously got bashed in transit. Despite leaving my name and number I still haven’t heard anything from them! Not impressed.

As I still haven't received my appliance (I should have got it a week ago) I am surprised that you have asked me for a review. However, Sam, in customer services, deserves 5 stars for trying to sort out my delivery.

Communication was very poor. Our delivery date was changed and we were not told about it. It was hard to get hold of anyone and when I did they were slow to explain or apologise. The 2nd delivery date was cancelled. When the cooker was eventually delivered, we were told it couldn't be installed by the delivery team, although we were expecting it to be installed because the website ordering system did not explain this properly. The only positive part of the whole experience was the fact that the delivery team were helpful and sympathetic, and apologised even though they were not at fault. There was a small dent in the side of the cooker. I would not use this company again.

Order was constantly delayed. Staff didn't even know when they'd be getting stock and so was waiting. Ended up going through PayPal for a refund. Would not use again.

The sales team were accommodating, and delivery was quick and efficient. However, the installation team were terrible, and when I got home from work, I found the dishwasher door did not open because it caught on the kickplate. They said they would send someone to fix it, and when I got home from work a few days later, I found they had hacked a notch out of the kickplate with a saw which looked utterly terrible. They then informed me that I needed a dishwasher with a sliding hinge. My initial call to them was to replace a dishwasher, and I gave them the model number; they should have known this. So my advice is, by all means, buy products from this company but don't take their guidance on what you need and never let their installers into your home!

I am not sure even if they deserve a one-star. A very dodgy and fraudulent company, first of all, their online page is not updated and when you buy an item your purchase goes through but the product is not available so the company changes the details and sends you a similar product. To ask for an exchange or refund they take you through hell. They have no customer service and when you manage a call a lady keeps on promising that someone will call you back but you will never get a call from anyone for days. I was preparing to go through the Obdusman claim when a friend offered to help and got my refund through a big fight, cautioning them to take legal action against them. It took me many days to arrange for a collection of the item and to proceed with my refund. After this experience, I will never buy any big item from small companies and I will not recommend this company to anyone at all

Put the price of the appliance up whilst in my basket. Then did price comparison and were supposed to reimburse the difference, despite several phone calls his has not been done. The item did not arrive on the scheduled day, and no proper explanation of why. It was then booked for delivery the following week. The delivery men rang with the time but apparently they were delivery to the billing address not the delivery address. The item was then returned to the warehouse. The arrangement was that this item would be delivered at a date suitable to myself on my return from holiday. During my holiday the item turned up at the delivery address, again with no consultation. Would we buy from this company again no.

In response to the price change on our website, it is common for prices do go up and down, this is standard within the industry and we often have to change our prices to match the market. However, as we offer a price match guarantee, we offered to price match against a cheaper retailer on this occasion and the price difference was refunded to you on the same day. Refunds can take up to 5 working days to process via the bank. With regards to the delivery issues you faced, this was due to an error with our system and we apologise for the inconvenience this caused. Because of the queens funeral, which created an extra Bank Holiday, my delivery was 6 days late. I was also told that I couldn't have a delivery on the following Wednesday,the day of the week I originally paid extra for, because they don't go my way on a Wednesday. Pretty shoddy all round.

Unfortunately, due to the Queen's funeral, our stock did not arrive from the manufacturer on Monday 19th September and was instead delivered to us the following Monday. This was out of our control, and was the case for businesses across the country. Upon delivery from the manufacturer to us, we delivered your appliance the next day. According to our records you paid for a delivery time slot as opposed to paying for a specific delivery day which is why your delivery arrived on a Tuesday. We're sorry you were disappointed. Appliance damaged in transit. Unable to replace and deliver a new one. Lots of time wasted trying to resolve and have another refrigerator delivered from another company.

The nice guys who arrived couldn't remove the existing dishwasher. They tried very hard and were apologetic and kind. So they left with the new machine which has been refunded very efficiently. However when my husband got home he removed the dishwasher on his own. What can I say?

Appliance ordered on 30th May and still NOT received on 12th June and no date as yet for delivery, very disappointed.

They damaged my door step when removing the old fridge, customer services said they would sort it whatever it took however no communication after sending a member of staff out 4 weeks ago to get photos & sample of tiles. I like to buy local however this was a mistake as I paid more & have had poor service

A very bad service throughout, delivery much earlier in the morning than expected, only to have the wrong one delivered, Then my wife was told by the delivery guy, the item we bought was and quote two to a penny. My wife then had a phone call asking why she chose a particular washing machine that she bought, he came across as a bit arrogant we were told by the staff it was passion. After we complained to the people in the shop they were quite defensive and after explaining what a terrible experience we had we were offered no compensation and it seems like this is how they treat their customers we will give this review to others and hope Nailsea electrics can better themselves for the future

With regards to the phone call, we have explained that the reason behind us offering an alternative was because there was going to be a significant delay with your chosen appliance and we wanted to recommend an appliance where the quality was on par, if not better. We also wanted to recommend a brand that we get great customer feedback from customer services wise. Very disappointing. Very efficiently installed BUT big problem ever since as the freezer compartment door will not close properly. The Hotpoint engineer came last Saturday and chipped away the build up of ice, adjusted the door and . showed us how to FIRMLY close it. We used it the following day and.......could not close it. So, again, ice is building up. The gentleman we’ve been dealing with has Covid and we’ve been referred to Nailsea Electrical. So far our attempts to speak to ‘Chris’ have failed. We are VERY anxious and frustrated at this state of affairs.
