“Disappointed that Parts4Engines choose to penalise those who live in the Islands & Highlands by refusing to use Royal Mail which for our destinations is just as fast but steadfastly stick with Courier firms that charge premium prices.”

Hi There, I completely understand your frustration regarding our chosen courier and the delivery service to the Islands and the Highlands. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and I want to assure you that we are listening. The decision to switch couriers was based on customer feedback indicating that DHL was the superior choice. However, we have received several concerns from our customers in the Islands and the Highlands about the high quotes and delivery challenges with DHL. We deeply value every single customer, and I have personally raised this issue after reading your review. I am pleased to inform you that we have now made Royal Mail exclusively available to our Highlands and Islands customers, offering much better rates and reliable service. “The goods are ok. But very bad experience with UPS: - 10 E-Mails with absolutely unreliable delivery date announcement but the delivery postponement without any comment. I spent 3/4 day days at home to get the delivery. They demand 20€ handlings fee for customs clearance. To be clear: It's only the payment via bank transfer in advance. It would have been better not to order by parts4engines.”

We would hope to save you the hassle in the future by dealing with the courier directly and keep you updated along the way. I can see that you chose UPS as your courier but for shipments from the UK to EU countries, VAT will always be charged according to the rate set by the destination country. During the checkout process, we suggest choosing FedEx as your courier for EU destinations. FedEx includes Pre-Paid VAT in their shipping prices, ensuring that no additional fees are incurred at French customs. In contrast, couriers like UPS and DHL do not include Pre-Paid VAT and may charge an administrative/service fee for collecting the VAT, which will be added to the overall cost. Best, Jacq

I am very glad to read that our warehouse staff dispatched this and had it on it's way to France quickly. We do understand how frustrating the VAT/import charges are, these are retrospective to every countries laws and regulations for importing goods, we however are working on ways to bring these charges down for our overseas customers. Please note we do not make any profit from those taxes, they are paid directly to the French Customs Department. - Gemma

“Parcel sent to wrong town due to soft ware error. This company when contacted by the parcels receiver who told them that they had notordered the parts,did their utmost to contact me.Parts for engines then forwarded the parcel to me free of any charges,”

“The parts are of a good quality, but delivery wasn't on good level. The DHL took over the parcel to the third party courier company and the label was printed without delivery city and place. Took one full day and a lot of efforts to get it from that company's office at 20:00 of local time.”
