I completely agree that it would be better if prices included VAT before checkout. This has been challenging to implement since our site serves customers globally, and overseas customers would be seeing prices with UK VAT, which doesn’t apply to them. However, I’m pleased to let you know that I’ve been advocating for this change, and we’ve now made some technical adjustments. The site can now recognise when you’re a UK customer and will display prices including VAT before you reach the checkout. “I originally gave the wrong spec of an engine for which I required a gasket set. (Quoted Perkins should have been Shibarau). On delivery of the gaskets, I noticed the head gasket had the wrong size of bore hence not suitable. I would like to identify a 3 cylinder diesel engine with similar bore size and gasket. (I can add/plug some oil/water holes). Dia of gasket holes to be 83mm, (81.4mm engine bore dia). Distance between bore holes on gasket 10.5mm, (12mm on engine). The gasket has a metal insert around the bore and exhaust valve. If Parts4engines can identify similar, your review will be superb. (See order 4135 for info and photos). Thankyou. Ron Ferguson.”

“The water pump was a poor casting when fitting it it was tight and would not turn when tightened up,had to make extra gaskets to ease the pump out as it was making contact with the engine block”

Hi There, Thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us. I completely sympathise with the VAT/import fees and how expensive they can make importing goods from the UK be. I can see you ordered from Italy which is in the EU, so I have some advise regarding this. So, we charge a delivery fee on behalf of the couriers. When exporting goods from the UK to Italy, UK VAT is not applicable. However, Italian VAT still applies. Given that we ship globally and each country has its own import and export laws and VAT regulations, we do not advertise specific VAT rates. As a UK-based company, it is challenging to be aware of the VAT rates for every country, as these are set by each respective government. For shipments from the UK to EU countries, VAT will always be charged according to the rate set by the destination country. During the checkout process, we suggest choosing FedEx as your courier for EU destinations. FedEx includes Pre-Paid VAT in their shipping prices, ensuring that no additional fees are incurred at French customs. In contrast, couriers like UPS and DHL do not include Pre-Paid VAT and may charge an administrative/service fee for collecting the VAT, which will be added to the overall cost. I can see that the lack of instructions with the air filter created a fitment process which was not as smooth as you would of liked. We don't actually include any instructions with these filters or any filters but we have a technical team in the office who are available via phone, email or a ticket system found on the website, who will always be willing to give out any tips for fitment etc. If you return to us in the future please be sure to call or email for any help/tips :))-Gemma
