“Ordered on line with little knowlege. Called and spoke with Candis and she really enlightens me, helped me get what I needed and was responsive on little goodies I needed after the main purchase. Also the headsets and 2 way changed my riding experiance!”

“I just recived the radio. I am reading up on the FCC requirements and reserching how to get power directly from the battery. I have a Sprinter so the battery is under the driver's seat. So far so good. Will update once install is complete.”

“1 of the employees mixed up the cables I bought at the off-road show at the Pomona Fairplay. I discovered this, after I'd left, so I had to go back, get back into the show, and show them the error. They were very helpful in exchanging the incorrect cables with no hassle. I'm sure I'll buy more parts from Rugged in the future.”

“I have been using RUGGE model H22 OTH Headset for 2 way radios Black. I use a base station UHF/VHF radio for safety communications at San Diego Bayfair hydroplane races. I owned an older version that I keep as a spare. The curreect unit has been in use for 5 years. Everything works during that busy weekend. I wish RUGGED had marine VHF radio base stations that I can pair up with the anttena I use.”

“Couldn't ask for better customer service. I ordered a few pieces and before shipping they actually called me to make sure that I had some of the necessary supplemental parts which I did not and they allowed me to add to my order without complication and got everything shipped out right away. It would have been very easy for them to package the order and ship it without question. Parts would have arrived and I would not have been able to install everything so thank you for saving me the headache and time!”

“Rugged Radio hand sets are as advertised. They are solid, and repeater accessable. Great for getting out and about with friends, and family. The real top shelf attribute to my experience was interacting with staff. Great customer service! Great general experience with Rugged Radios.”

“Customer service was good. Wish I had stronger cables on radio I use on off road motorcycle. Radios bought from RZR Werks in Yuma, for Can Am X 3 are good. However, the plastic housing has faded to a gross discoloration that looks like diluted urine. X 3 stored inside. Not sure why the radio looks 20 years old.”

“Me and daughter ride dirt bikes in the woods and out in rugged trails. I ordered two gmrs radios moto max complete with the head set speakers and microphones and long range antennas. I was amazed on the clarity and reception. We communicated all day with no issues. If ur looking for well made radios that work I’d recommend rugged radios.”

“I had a terrible noise in my transmitted signal on my mobile tri-band Amateur (Ham) radio in my pickup truck so I decided to look into a filter to filter out any noise coming in through the 12 V DC wires. I ordered a filter for this from Rugged Radios and when it arrived I installed it and bingo the noise went away leaving my mobile with clean signals both incoming and outgoing. Thanks for a well built cure for my problem.”
