“Of the 3 fitters you recommended Chief Electricians was easily the best in my opinion . Of the other 2 Solstra made 2 dates to come and quote they did not turn up for either . Solar Dynamics , I believe intimated that we we would not give them info for quoting , not true , I wanted them to come to premises to quote as I like to meet the person first he refused , so I told him not bother and left it at that . “SolarQuotes is a good source of information. We did not have a good result from our quotes however.
We got three quotes. I requested site visit. 2 of the 3 came to the house, but they were salesmen who did not inspect the roof.
All three quotes proposed systems which would not fit on our roof due to constraints from clay roof tiles and cemented caps.
We ended up using Sunterra. Their inspector walked the roof, lifted tiles, and designed the best system given the roof limitations. They were also about half the cost of the 3 companies we got through Solar Quotes”

We hate to hear that we have recommended a solar experience to a user of our site that was ultimately, disappointing. I am a reasonably well informed energy customer and my circumstances being heavily gas dependant make the numbers challenging until I convert my (new) gas appliances and they did not guild the lilly.”
