“SolarQuotes provided me with 3 quotes. I ended up proceeding with one of the quotes and it has been a positive experience with the selected organisation. During the evaluation of the quotes, I had several questions that I wanted to get a second opinion on. SolarQuotes were very responsive with some excellent advice which reassured me.”
“Very happy to have 3 local companies to come out to the property to visually inspect what l was after and to be able to talk directly to them. One will certainly get the job. Cheers Wayne”
“The three quotations were a mix of options from budget to high end which gave us a good idea of what was available. We chose the supplier based on independent reviews from Product Review.”
“Solarquotes provided contact details of their vetted installers very quick. Got in contact with said installers and both came to visit premises before quoting, which I thought an important point. Received quotes from both very quickly after their site visit and I must say Solarquotes did the job of matchmaking us with installers well. Now, Solarquotes as source of reliable and accurate information, there is lot of information to absorb and it's mostly well organised. Having said that, what I found missing is easy guidelines in sizing the solar system based on average daily consumption, feed in tariffs and network provider restrictions. An example, I never understood why the installer was quoting a 8kW system when I read elsewhere that Essential Energy has a limit of 5kW in inverter size. Ended up signing contract with the installer that answered my detailed questions more objectively.”

“The solar Quotes received were professional & well prepared. The site visit by an actual electrical tradesman was the best for me, being a retired technician enabled me to discuss & relate to what the installer was offering in their quote.”
“Great information. Every little bit helps when making a financial decision concerning stand alone or any other solar system. We are going to use a local supplier.
Regards Daniel.”
“Two of those who quoted were very good and visited the site, necessary because of the orientation of the house and the proximity of trees. I don't think the third should have been on the recommended list for several reasons; they only used a Zoom consultation, proposed using solar panels with not much of a track record in Australia and their primary interest was in promoting a battery installation as part of a VPP and a financing deal. The battery also had not much of a track record in Australia and was not on the recommended list.”
“Our quotes came through as promised, although two of the companies quoted for more panels than what we advised we would need. And as these two companies could not attend our home to look at/discuss our needs we went with the third quote, where a person came out (twice) and discussed our needs/wants, and formulated the quotes precisely to them. We have now decided to go ahead with this company, and hopefully the rest of the service will be as good as the beginning...we are pleased with that. thankyou.”
“Great information and prompt response from 2 out of 3 installers. but I’m still unsure whether to pay more for Enphase inverters. And whether Huawei inverter is as reliable as Sungrow inverter”
Hi Kathryn - you make find this article helpful re microinverters: https://www.solarquotes.com.au/blog/solar-panel-optimisation/
With regards to Huawei vs Sungrow - we've heard great things about both and have no reason to believe one would be less reliable than the other.
