“I found that being directly contacted on the phone was the best option rather than just email quote as this allowed me to instantly ask questions. One of these experiences was exactly this and in the end they were the ones selected for the work. Another seemed quite put out that someone had rung me a full week before them and I advised them that I had already settled on someone so they then wanted to know who and what was their price - which I refused to give. A third did ring but I spoke to a lady who said she couldnt really answer my questions as she was not qualified and was very instant that I arrange for someone to come from Melbourne to meet with me and my husband who she also insisted that I give his name. But must say I extremely happy with who I settled with and their constant help with paperwork and followup.”

“I was recommended to use Solarquotes from a trusted advisor, who personally knows Finn. The experience of using Solarquotes was great, plenty of information for research on their website and prompt follow-ups.
Within 24 hours I received recommendation on 3 top installers in WA based on their reviews.
Not a surprise, the highest rating installer "Koala Solar" called immediately and set a face to face meeting right away. The salesperson, Johnny was professional, knowledge and thorough in explaining the process and the cost was very reasonable as well. If it wasn't for the long wait time during the peak season, I would happy to go with them.
The other 2 installers didn't live up to their reviews, in this day and age they still prefer to send quotes via email, no follow-up or call until the following week. Obviously, if that's the level of service they provide, it's fair to say they didn't get the business. There is zero value add from just email quotes regardless how low the prices are.
I would recommend Solarquotes for anyone who is looking for a solar system, don't forget to do due diligence and get multiple quotes. I've met greedy salesman quoting 2x the price for the same system.”
