“It is helpful to get recommendations. Backed up by your reviews and videos it is a Godsend. One of the companies I had got a quote from some time back and I was not happy with the approach. My difficulty is my current panels sit atop a fantastic tilt system which no company today is willing to use. I am about to contact the tilt system manufacturer Sunlock and see if they have a list of compatible panels or devices that can make the frame flexible.

“The website is great, Finn and the team is generous in sharing useful and easy to understand info for people who are non techie. I only got 1 company who came back to me quickly. And that company actually took the initiative to come out and physically inspect my property. The other although close by, decided to do a phone call and view my house virtually. From the conversation, they do not seem to have a strong knowledge and fail most of the items that was on Finn's checklist, needless to say, out of the 3, 2 outright fail the checklist, not sure how they got into the recommended list.

“Definitely good advice on the website which has now made me second guess a couple of the quotes I have received.
Only 1 of the 3 quoters came out to site to look. The one who came out to see us opened up a series of further thoughts and questions now on the other two quotes. One of these we had already ruled a line through due to what felt like a brush off. Quote was not even correct based on the short contact over the phone. The other we did have a long conversation and I did send them photos of everything requested. However now I believe their quote would not be satisfactory either due to the onsite visit from the 3rd quoter and potential extra work that may be required.”
