“Solar quotes gave me confidence I wasn't being ripped-off as much as I may have been without them. There's a lot of cowboys peddling BS, or treating potential customers with disdain or both. Lots of gobbldygook, jargon, and pseudo jargon. Pressure selling.
There are installers who disparage Solar Quotes, so they must be having an effect. There's even websites with names very similar to Solar Quotes, probably wanting to get some action from the unwary. I know because one caught me out with their similar name.
Still not 100% confident (suppose that was always unlikely) but it's the best I'm going to get I rekon”

“Two of the three recommended were local, not sure about the other one.
Only selected to obtain a quote from Mondeaux, who were very competitive, but appeared to be offering older style components.
Have acccepted quote for Sunbuilt, also local company, were not the cheapest offer, but seemed to offer better value for money, while still having a large enough business locally based for backup and longevity.”

“Only received 2 quotes, only one of this was a quality interaction with a phone call to discuss my needs. I do judge how good an installer is likely to be based on effort to connect with a potential customer, so even though I didn’t get three quotes, I got good information on the installers.
I actually ended up contacting the company who did my solar installation, which was originally through Solar Quotes (but not for the EV charger quote). I will be going with this company. So I still credit SQ with the connection here.”
