“Brilliant source of education and advice. Quoting suppliers (separately, for panels March 2021 and batteries Feb 2024) were responsive, conversational and helpful. In this latest instance, I decided not to go with batteries at this time as the total upfront cost would be challenging, in my particular circumstances.
SolarQuotes previously assisted with solar system quotes and were really responsive and practically supportive when some issues emerged during installation not previously advised by the supplier - some large inverters can be noisy. Solarquotes were serious about their good installer/good installation guarantees and quickly worked out something that worked for everyone. Then, once installed (I filled my roof, thanks Finn!), the system has run really reliably and as expected based on SolarQuotes and supplier's advice.
In the past 2.5 years I've only had two multi-day interruptions due to major storms causing grid outages. Very happy customer - once I've more savings and assuming battery prices follow the technology cost curve down - then I'll be looking forward to adding a battery (and/or electric car) - one day!”
