Here is an article we have written detailing what we expect a solar system to cost based on its size. There are also many factors that can effect price, such as brands of inverters/panels, or if batteries are added.

“Getting 3 recommended contacts for EV specialist electricians was most helpful. I had found it daunting otherwise - where do you start as, although all electricians would probably say they can install chargers, how do you know if they are expert in it or not?
There was quite a contrast in the approach of the 3 though - All Green Environmental Solutions quoted just based on the information you sent them/Smart Energy Answers arranged a phone call consultation and quoted over the phone with no email or written follow up/ Reds Power Solutions rang then arranged for a quick visit.
We have gone with Reds as, having visited, we are confident we will get the charger that suits us and that it will be installed where we want it. Also, they are offering a Ocular IQ which appears to be one of the best (and dearest) yet their quote was still competitive.
Solar quotes also answered the remaining questions I had - I do find the Solar Quotes site a great educational resource for anything to do with solar power (as it is dumbed down for non-engineer dummies like me) and the chat is useful too.”
