“While I originally received the wrong product, Sarah was super helpful and quick to coordinate what I can only describe as an immediate solution. I received the correct product literally 24hrs later. The wall clock itself looks great! But I would say, support was especially excellent.”

“Purchased a Black Naos quartz version. Spent a long time searching for a well designed modern watch with sapphire glass at a great price! Fast delivery (took about 3 days to ship out and then 2 days delivery to Canada). Beautiful packaging. Chose the black dial because it is elegant and doesn’t stand out as much as blue or white (which are also all very nice). I don’t miss the second hand at all.. this design doesn’t need it.. and I prefer the less maintenance and accuracy of the quartz version. Automatic would be very nice too and well worth it. Excellent German design, quality, and attention to detail. I love the Sternglas story and will continue to follow them to see what new models come out in the future.”

“This is my second Sternglas watch and as much as I like the design and look of the watch it bothers me that this watch loses more than 2 minutes in less than a week. It seems to be a general problem with Sternglas watches because my first watch from Sternglas had the same issue. Even after I had the first watch serviced by Sternglas, it still loses considerable time. I had hoped that this was a one-off but unfortunately not. They are pretty to look at, but not usable as working timepieces when accurate time is a necessity. I think that in this price range more can be expected. I will not consider Sternglas watches anymore.”

Moin from Hamburg! Thank you for your review. :) It should be emphasized, that a mechanical movement never runs as accurate as a battery-powered movement. This is due to the construction of an automatic movement and cannot be avoided with any mechanical movement. The manufacturer MIYOTA specifies a tolerance deviation of -20 to +40 seconds for the 821A movement, which is used in the STERNGLAS automatic models, and a deviation of -10/+30 seconds per day for the 9015 movement. So two minutes in a week are still in deviation. Greetings from Hamburg. :)

“ich frohe mich , dass ich endlich Sternglas haben konnte. Ich spare Geld und wartet ein Jahr. Design ist toll. Aber, Zeiger der Uhr kommt sich zu spät. Zwischen 2 Wochen, es kommt sich ca. 10 Minuten verspätet. Ich weiß nicht, wegen Batterie oder Anfänglich schlecht ist. Wenn es Möglichkeit gibt, bitte sag mir um es dazu.”

“I'm following up with my review of owning a Sternglas for roughly two months. I wanted to spend a bit of time with the watch for a balanced opinion. To make it clear, I'm no watch connoisseur, but I'm good at spotting details. I ran into Sternglas on Instagram, and I quickly started dreaming of owning a piece. Even though I haven't worn a watch for more than five years, I've always liked the look of a field watch. Luckily, I know a gent who collects and repairs watches for a living. He took a look at the specs and materials and gave his blessing, so I went ahead and got a Taiga GMT. Out of the box, the watch is flawless, second to none in this price range. Initially, I found it a bit larger than I expected, but that seems to be the trend for contemporary watch design. I realised it seemed large because of the GMT indicators around the watch face, but I've gotten used to it. The watch is light, virtually scratchproof, and has the look and feel of a premium product. It's discreet, classy and versatile. And it does sit nicely on my average-sized wrist. I plan on getting a rubber band as well, so I can preserve the leather band for longer. I also prefer the feel of rubber over the summer months when I sweat more, plus the sporty look. I'm confident my watch will stand the test of time and continue to turn heads (and wrists).
