“I am very happy with the purchase of my Zirkel. The watch is beautiful, the mechanism is gorgeus and it looks and feels a very sturdy and well made piece of engineering. It is reduced, or perhapes better saying, "cleaned" to the simpliest form of what a watch should be, leaving anything but elegance and functionality. Excellent design and construction. A true jewel with a purpose.”

“Sternglas Hamburg Automatic! I have waited so much for this product because I am one of the many, that asked for an automatic version of this timepiece after its first quartz release. My review as an architect and designer- Short: I am very happy with this purchase! The design was what initially caught my attention, so adding a durable reasonably priced, automatic movement was what I needed. Detailed: - express delivery within EU - well crafted timepiece matching ALL descriptions and promises! - at first, I was surprised with the scale of the texts and numbers on the dial(they seemed a bit smaller then expected) BUT I quickly get used to the overall scale and I am happy with it - beautiful detailed design! - the 42 mm diameter is perfect for my wrist - the overall thickness is slim enough, considering the movement - the engraving of Hamburg on the back is very nicely done - the strap is the most comfortable watch strap I have ever wore! It also has a nice silky feel. It’s more & more comfortable to wear with each day. Personal remark: I would prefer to have a glass cover on the back, so I can see the movement, the concept for that would fit this watch so well! But I understand the decision to make the engraving and enrich the whole Sternglas portfolio. In overall, all details and elements are carefully combined together. A very classy piece that gives a breath of fresh air to the watch industry! Keep up the great work Sternglas we appreciate it!”

“Fernglass not only looks splendid and delivers fast, but their service is impeccable as well. My watch was still working after six months, but the crown came loose when I adjusted the time or date. One e-mail later they sent me a new watch, no questions asked. No hassle with returning and waiting (I live in Australia). I must avow, I had the faulty crown repaired later, about €50 and well worth it. So, now I have two Fernglass watches with my two straps. My watchmaker started her career back in 1963, long before I was born. She only accepts cash, and doesn't serve people who enter her shop whilst on a phone call. She explained that many fancy brands use Chinese mechanisms. But not Fernglass, they use a genuine Swiss mechanism, she assured me. I wasn't surprised. Not at all.”

“I ordered a Naos model from Sternglas for my partner’s birthday. The ordering process was easy, the delivery was very prompt to the UK by DHL and the watch is absolutely beautiful. It is the blue model with a black leather strap. He will love it! I am now considering buying a Sternglas watch for myself.”
