“Please be aware that Snaptravel charges in USD!!! When I was booking my flights with them, I made sure I changed the currency to CAD to avoid conversion fees, so I know exactly how much I am paying for, but they still charged me in USD, with conversion fees of course. So I ended up paying more, even when it says - Total (includes all taxes and fees, quoted in CAD). Their website gives you an option to change to a different currency - CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD, other than USD. What is that option for, then?! And then the customer service will tell you, it is on the agreement, on the fine print that you will be charged in USD! They have 23 paragraphs of fine print! They should have put that VERY IMPORTANT information right next to or below the Total Price before we proceed on booking it! Very deceitful!!! Never will I book through Snaptravel again!!! And neither should you.”

“I used Snaptravel on the weekend in Niagara Falls,Ontario. My room was only 88.00, the hotel also gave us a 30.00 voucher for dinner at the keg! Absolutely beautiful room,I have used Snaptravel before, only way to go! You won't be disappointed!”

“I have used Snaptravel today for the first time. While hotel rates displayed it shown USD 77.51 and I booked the hotel by entering my credit card details. Also, I had a confirmation from Snaptravel that I had to pay only AED 10/- per night to hotel on top of USD 77.51 But, to my surprise, when I was charged on my credit card, they have charged me AED 467.480, which is around USD 127/-. In effect I been charged with USD 127/- instead of the price of USD 77.51 shown on the site before the hotel booking. They have not mentioned about any extra charges on the price display prior to booking. When I asked about the extra charging, they couldn’t give me proper response, but I was asked to check with hotel. So in my opinion nobody should use this site as they are misleading people and are not transparent in their business. Don’t rely on the prices shown in their site while you book the hotel. Don’t be trapped…”
