“was delivered midweek even though I requested a sat delivery.”

“I am leaving 2 star and not 1 because the meat I've received on my 2 orders was very good. Although I sent I don't know how many emails to have informations on products due to allergies and even though it was the customer service who offered to escalate I never received an answer and when chased up I was ignored every time. I feel fooled and it is ridiculous that you don't have answers or ignore the customers when it comes up to allergies”

“Items were missing from my order, I used the chat to explain the problem and I filled out the form etc and yesterday I used the chat again and my complaint was escalated but still no word from fat butcher customer service. I am extremely disappointed and annoyed with the lack of response I have received”

“Never had any problems previously but got a delivery on Thursday and unfortunately the meatballs were mouldy. Customer service hasn't been the best. Over a week later and the issue still isn't resolved. Was told someone would be in touch but they haven't.”

“I used to love fat butcher v good value for money but if everything doesn’t last … I had chicken legs in the fridge for two days opened them and the smell was awful … also previous orders haven’t been great and I’ve been given a refund … such a shame such good bargains erc”

“the last lot of minted lamb chops were horrible coated in a yellow substance looked like yellow fat and tough as old boots more like mutton🥎,also ribs were very tough, this order was not like i've had before and i was very dissapointed as i bought these for a relative( possibly new customer,) but i doubt if i'll order these again”

“We have been using the fat butcher for sometime now and never had any complaints until now. We placed our order on the app as we normally do, and the meat was delivered on time but the 2 for 1 offer on the lamb was a disappointment as the 1 part of it we had a problem with so I sent an email detailing the problem and submitted a picture of it , and 1 week later we have had no contact from anyone at the fat butcher to speak to us about the problem? I think the fact that you can’t call them directly is a weak point but when you use the only method of communication you can and don’t get a response it’s not very professional and not good customer service.”

“The food arrived a day later than expected and wasn’t really cold with the ice packs fully liquid. The whole fillet, whilst very tasty and good value due to be being on offer, wasn’t really big enough to cut proper 7oz or 8oz fillets from, the biggest at 2” thick were under 6oz. This is the second third time we’ve used Fat Butcher and the second time we’ve had issues so although the meat is better than Tesco etc I’m still not sure about future orders and will probably look for an alternative.”

“Worst rib eye and sirloin iv ever had full of gristle, this was my 4th order and they’ve gradually got poorer of quality, as the saying goes “goods not cheap and cheap not good. Certainly will not be ordering again”

“I love the family supper hampers buy there wasn't the normal products in ut then I bought the lamb shanks separately. According to my account on fat butchers the lamb shanks came in that delivery but they was nit in it. I'm hoping they come today. Hope they actually turn up but this time round seriously disappointed.”

“its ok minimum butchery undertaken, leaving you with work to do they do not reply to emails, sent 3 , all ignored you get what you pay for, their discount doesn't really exist having said that, i will use them again now I know what work i have to do”
