“I wouuld decribe the Fat Butcher products as a 'mixed bag' Some is very good, and some not so. The mince is excellent, but aftter three lots of BBQ pork ribs I cannot say the same. The lst set of ribs were f- substandards, chewy after three hours slow cooking. Gammon is variable, but the diced beef is very good. So, as you can see, the experience of shopping with the Fat Butcher is variable.I also find the delivery charges excessice”

“I was very impressed with the choice of hampers and that it was delivered to the door. The meat is really good,fresh and tasty. I have now stop shopping in supermarkets and buy direct”

“Haven't tried everything yet but seems good quality. I do have a problem with the way it arrived, the box was ripped and dinted and soggy . It wasn't pleasant to think the meat had been thrown around. Change your courier”

“With meat prices on the rise, it was great to get a bundle of good quality meat at a great price. I have the mince, sausages and steak so far and the taste of the meat had real flavour. I cant wait to taste the rest and I will reorder again. Delivery was on time and packaging really done well.”

“Pork gammon turkey all look good 2 pieces of meat were flat like you would cut for steaks not round the way a roast usually is and fat streaks going through it not like in the picture advertised nice and lean have not used any of it yet so can't say how it tastes”

“I have had 2 orders now and I must say the meat has been a bit great and a bit disappointing the cut your own steak joint was terrible the steaks had no flavour and were more gristle than meat towards the centre wouldn't recommend it. The sausage is lovely as well as the beef mince bacon chops were a change but salty. Bacon was good chicken tray has been great pork joint was nice one out of two beef joints were good”

“Good value for money, the half price dog food offer at the end was a nice touch, my cats enjoyed it as its mainly just meat. My only critique is that I specifically booked it to arrive on Wednesday the following week and they delivered Thursday when we were at work, quite annoying and just left in the garden for a few hours until we got back, not great. Choose a better courier.”

“So far so good. Had little hiccup as day my order was due had to email as had no tracking data. Email was answered promptly and honestly. Rosie thank you for sorting my delivery issues. So far we've tried steaks,bacon,pork steaks and they were all good. Wasn't as impressed with Chinese chicken skewers had appearance of fish and not that good flavour wise but as a new customer I'm learning what we as a family like and don't like.”

“Fabulous box. Stewing steak was lean and tasty making amazing beef ale stew. Cumberland sausages were great. Chicken breasts are huge. Still to try the ribs and burgers but I am sure the will be of a high quality.”

“Hayu the Scottish banter 😆 where's the beef linked. And bacon ribs plan.. I dont like pork.. ..the things I like is..roast beef. Gammon. Spice chicken. Stake pie.black pudding.. and gd old lamb chops..for the cash brilliant u x”
