“Was sent out of date lamb , took a while to answer, then offered a credit note - which was unacceptable in my opinion. At least replace- i eventually got my money back - but no apology no reply just credited back - OOD meat is a serious issue wont be using again as dont trust them now you can see date on picture and they sent these out knowing they were out of date - i received them sat 1st Nov - so check your packages this was Lamb chops”

“Meat is relabelled so not sure how old it is when you get it sometimes appears brown and off colour when arrives one had a nectar half price sticker on top so will not be buying from them again”

“Customer service is poor - I placed an order and this was delayed due to it being a perishable. At no point did the company contact me to offer a solution, instead I was notified by the delivery company. I have yet to receive my order. Unacceptable service!”

“The meat overall was ok, but not as advertised. The chicken breast I ordered was not what I received. It was all broken down and quite slimy. The steak and mince is ok but the chicken was poor quality”

“Not one for complaining, but I have to say, that sirloin is the toughest, stringiest meat I've even had the misfortune to have on my plate. Eaten 8 steaks out of 8kg so far, hopefully some won't be so bad. Very disappointed..”

“Well, meat seems good obviously not eaten it all yet. I had 2 steaks the other night I cook them medium rare bit tuff but tasted ok. Delivery process is a lot to be desired you're asked to choose a delivery date but are told you won't get it for another week I needed the order for a party. I had to buy more from a supermarket. Not ordering again from these.”

“This was my 3rd order the second order which has been wrong. I contacted customer services who advised again to fill out a form to rectify the issue. I did this and have waited nearly a week but not had a reply. The customer service is the only thing that let's the fat butcher down as the meat is top notch”

“It took 6 atempts for my post code to be accepted by the site. Delivery was not made on day promised even though this date was chosen by the supplier. I was not available they next day so contacted customer services. No new date was offered so stayed in all day Tuesday then emailed the company. Eventualy someone emailed (Director?) to give Friday as delivery date. One week after promised delivery date. I am a member of the Institute of Meat and a chef for almost 50 years and would judge the meat as poor. Some of the bacon rashers were thicker than the sirloin steaks. The sirloin was tough and stringy even after being cooked med rare. The chicken breasts were in need of a wash before cooking after laying in blood. I cant see myself using the Fat Butcher ever again. Poor service, poor product.”

“firstly my delivery was sent to house 4 doors down when the guy who lives there told delivery guy was wrong house he just drove off, DPD. it didnt arrive till pm rather than am and most of meat was thawed, so didnt refreeze chicken just in case opened it 3 days later and chicken stank, so binned it. tried to contact fat butcher, just to get message wasnt sent as,,Your message wasn't delivered because the destination email system rejected your message for security or policy reasons. so no feedback discusting will never use again £90 wasted.”

“The chicken fillets had a tainted smell of not that fresh. I cooked a curry tonight, which I have done many times, but never have I had to pick out feather stalks out like this. It was horrendous, completely ruined the meal. As for the rest of the order we have realised if its to good to be true....... Ps The minted lamb chop things were re ally nice”

“Quality was great until the one complaint i made wasn't followed up. Denied knowing my postcode so couldn't find my order, despite me sending the actual order number?, and no further contact. Probably wont be back, which is a shame.”
