“Brilliant quality home delivered meats for an amazing price, I'll definitely be placing another order with them after Christmas once I've got room back in the freezer, as I do buy in bulk and freeze quite a bit of my order.”

“Lovely meat , I enjoy the offers , I’ve spent over 500 quid last month and this month for Christmas, For all the family , I only use the fat butcher for the quality meats , loved the 3kg cut your own stakes , The smoked bacon, the Cumberland sausage, The legs of lamb , I wish you sold the large full length pork pies , would be a munched love thing added to you Christmas things , but thank you for the quality that you provide and all ways supporting the family fat butcher is a must at good quality prices , merry Christmas to all at the fat butcher’s, 🥃”

“Just received a selection of meats from the fat butcher The filet steak was absolutely dreadful and consisted of a long strip of sinew with some small fillet steaks attached. The pack came full of blood so you can’t clearly see what you have until opened The silverside joints, instead of looking like “logs” were more like door wedges, so would be impossible to cook evenly The turkey breast was squashed into a bag no netting etc and looks decidedly odd I have purchased meat from online suppliers and this is so far off the mark as to be laughable We have £97 of absolutely dreadful meat fit for the bin Emails to customer services department go unanswered despite their website promise to make things right This is not how the Fat Butcher should treat customers”

“Haven't tried everything yet but seems good quality. I do have a problem with the way it arrived, the box was ripped and dinted and soggy . It wasn't pleasant to think the meat had been thrown around. Change your courier”

“Have to say my faith in The Fat Butcher has been seriously dented following this order. I've used them half a dozen times before, and had excellent beef fillets, but on this occasion my Scottish fillet arrived labelled as Spanish pork loin. Obviously this was a mistake - and not great given the meat traceability requirements these days - but as the label also carries the use by date I wanted to know what happened and was it safe to consume. I filled out their quality concern form as requested and it went completely ignored. I had to chase a further three times after a week and was met with indifference and clear frustration that I was making a fuss over nothing. It took nine days to get an answer on the use by date. Mistakes happen, but the appalling response and indifference to mislabelling meat has seriously damaged my trust in them being a competent and reputable supplier.”

“Ordered "2 Packs of British beef with pork mince" but when it arrived it was off! The appearance was the first indication but when we opened the first one it stank, so did the second pack. I emailed customer services immediately (30/10/25) and still haven't had a reply from them. So much for "If you have any issues, please give us a chance to resolve before leaving a review". This was my first and last order from the fat butcher.”

“Was sent out of date lamb , took a while to answer, then offered a credit note - which was unacceptable in my opinion. At least replace- i eventually got my money back - but no apology no reply just credited back - OOD meat is a serious issue wont be using again as dont trust them now you can see date on picture and they sent these out knowing they were out of date - i received them sat 1st Nov - so check your packages this was Lamb chops”

“The prices are great and some of the meat . The only criticism I have is the steak always full of grissel. But the rest is pretty great . When I see promotion I tend to go for it . The promotion that says only one per customer. Is annoying as I may like that aswell”

“As ever always great quality and value for money. My only request is if you could offer a bigger range for delivery. Looking at your media and what you get in the mystery boxes your range seems much bigger and I’ve surprised myself on new cuts that I’ve received in my numerous mystery boxes. Kee up the good work.”
