Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“We designed a personal baby blanket for our daughter Bonnie, we could not be happier with the end result, the materials are of high quality and the blanket is just so soft and cuddly, the blanket was wrapped up beautifully with a little chocolate surprise which was perfect for those pregnancy cravings. We received so many compliments in the hospital from all the staff wanting to know where we brought it from so of course I told them and couldn’t recommend highly enough. My newborn just loves her blankie already at only 4 days old she wraps her little fingers around the blanket and plays with it. We will eventually end up designing one for all 5 of her brothers and sisters, I just wish I heard of this company earlier. Well done team we absolutely love her blanket”

“Definitely a wow factor. The blanket I ordered is absolutely stunning, the quality of the blanket is beautiful soft and smells Devine. “I just received my order of three blankets for my Granddaughters and I’m ecstatic!! They really are even better than what I imagined especially the colours. The whole process from choosing and then placing the order to delivery was seamless. The way they were packaged and presented was extremely good. I have already recommended them to members of my family and being an Australian Company is very enticing.”

“Just love the blankets. Bought a bassinet and a cot-sized blanket for each of my grandsons. They came beautifully wrapped and in a lovely bag. Perfect condition. So love the idea that you can personalise the design of your blankets to reflect the individuality of each child. The concept is brilliant. Such an easy and classy gift to give. Also unique. “Service, quality, speed - all big ticks! I ordered my first blanket as gift for a new baby and it arrived so quickly (considering I ordered it as soon as they were born and it arrived before they were home from hospital!) quality is excellent - you have some brands you’ll pay double the price for. Service and ease of use on the website also super user friendly. Loved my first one so much I ordered one for my own child and will be 1000% ordering for all my future baby showers, Xmas presents, birthdays! - 1 happy customer!”
