Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“I have bought several blankets for friends that have had babies but this time I’ve bought one for my grandson that is due to arrive in a week. I have taken a stab at what his name may be so fingers crossed I’ve got it right! The feedback I have received about quality of the blankets is always very positive - they are soft and wash very well in the washing machine. They are so lovely too! I highly recommend.”

“I bought a beautiful cot sized personalised blanket for a friend who had just had a new baby girl and she loved it so much. I liked the wide range of options available and the quality, feel and workmanship of the blanket was perfect. The service provided by the company was also really good.
