Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

“I purchased two traditional Christmas stockings from Thread the Word, personalised with my boys’ names, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The quality of the stockings and the embroidery is excellent, the pricing was very reasonable, and the delivery was impressively fast. They’re exactly what I was hoping for and will be a special part of our Christmas for years to come. The only small point worth mentioning is that the volume of follow-up marketing emails after purchase felt a little excessive. That said, it doesn’t detract from the quality of the product or the overall experience. Very, very happy overall and would happily recommend them.”

“I've bought three of these blankets for colleagues as a gift from the office when they've had a baby, and everyone has been THRILLED with the gift. They are so easy to design, so unique and personal and incredibly special. The customer service is excellent too, with emails responded to within 24h. Once I had an incorrect address for a recipient and it was RTS. The company arranged for redelivery at no additional cost, although it was an error on my part. I plan on purchasing many more blankets through Thread the Word and cannot rate them highly enough.”
