Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

“Our daughter and her partner are so very happy with the cot blanket for little Cecilia. She washed it before use and said it has washed well too. I’m sure our little granddaughter will have lots of use even after she has outgrown her cot. Thank you so much for giving us such a unique gift. “Thread the Word is an amazing small family-owned Australian business I discovered this week looking for a gift for my friend’s newborn. I purchased the stripped name blanket which is a gorgeously soft cotton which is perfect for new bubs. I also purchased the little bunny which is so cute! I needed a fast turnaround and paid for the 1-day service. The blanket and bunny came gift wrapped in a cloth pouch. My friend absolutely loves the name blanket for her little one. I will ‘spread’ the word and use Thread the Word again!”
