Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“The products really are great. High quality, soft, thick but not too thick. I got one of these for my first born a couple of years ago and now he asks for it every night. I'm glad I got a bigger size so it can grow with him. I just made my second purchase for my second son. The quality of the blanket is great, and they're beautifully and thoughtfully packed and sent, each in their own little sack. I would reccomend to anyone.”

“I bought my first personalized blanket for my baby before she was born. It was my favorite thing I got for her. Since then I have ordered multiple blankets for her and my friends babies. The best gift, everyone loves them. I will keep getting my baby bigger sizes as she grows up. Really good quality and so many options to chose from.”

“I recently purchased the traditional snowman stocking. This is extremely good value, and very well made. I love that it's made in Australia by a husband and wife team and not some business from the usual places that would charge the same amount for impersonal mass produced items of lesser quality. Good communications and a really quick turnaround. I would highly recommend.”

“I ordered personalised Christmas stockings from them last year and loved them so much that I came back this year to add another one for my newborn. I was thrilled they still had the exact same style so all our stockings match perfectly. Every time people come over, I get compliments on them — they really do look beautiful in our home. Their customer service has been incredible. Even though I paid for express delivery and there were delays with AusPost, they responded immediately and refunded the extra express postage without any fuss. It’s so refreshing to deal with a business that genuinely cares about their customers. Gorgeous products, great prices and outstanding service. Highly recommend!”
