Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

“Originally, I wasn’t too happy because i paid an extra $30 for express shipping to get a gift from “Thread the Word” in time for mother’s day. There was a delay with Australia Post, which was no fault of this business. When I called them, they were very sympathetic and refunded me the $30 for shipping, even though they didn’t need to because they did everything right. They somehow, got the blanket i ordered, stitched my note to my mum on there for mother’s day, and got it posted the following day. That is unheard of from any company. I just received the gift in the post and the quality is phenomenal. I can’t say how happy I am and very impressed, Thanks guys! My mum will keep this forever. Xx”
