Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

“AMAZING! We loved our blanket, ordered as a surprise from my partners aunty and it’s so beautiful. It’s so soft and a good size so she won’t grow out of it too quickly, which I find is often a problem with baby blankets. Thank you so much!”

“It’s a beautiful blanket and loved so much. The whole process was very simple and delivered on time. The only issue that once you complete order can’t be altered, but with additional cost it can be. Apart from that it’s a beautiful 😍 I will be placing an order for another one. Thank you so much 😊”

“I was impressed by the quality of the blanket I received but that’s where the good review ends. I also ordered a personalised stocking for my daughter which I never received, I emailed customer support who apologised and said it was due to a busy peak period and they would send a new one out asap which was completely understandable but this never happened. I filed a complaint with PayPal which they never responded to and because the tracking said delivered PayPal closed the dispute. The stocking wasn’t expensive only $20 but the principal of not receiving the item and avoiding rectifying it was very disappointing and as much as I like the blanket this situation will stop me from purchasing things from them in the future.”
