Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“This is a beautiful gift idea, its an easy step by step process and there are a lot of sizes, styles, colours and font's to choose from. The blankets are beautiful, and i chose to have them shipped direct to my new grandsons. The whole process was just so easy. Highly reccomend if you are looking for a gift they wont grow out of.”

“Communication from Thread The Word was excellent. The updates on delivery date were appreciated. The blanket is absolutely beautiful. It was wrapped in tissue paper with a Thread The Word sticker on it, then it was in a Thread The Word calico bag, all were a lovely touch. I will definitely be ordering from Thread The Word again. “A friend recently became a first time grandmother and showed the beautiful cot blanket she had chosen for her grandson. I fell in love with it and ordered a cot blanket with a koala motif for my 4 month old grandson. I am impressed with the quality, colour and design. I hope it will be his watching tv “blankie” when he is a teenager and remembers me when I am gone. My daughter recently discovered she is having a girl and would love one for her baby.”

“I have now purchased 3 blankets for my great grandies,Absolutely loved designing them ,such beautiful designs and colours to choose from, the mums and dads love the fact that the blankets are cotton, so nice against babies skin but also warm and cuddly. I am about to design another blanket for my latest great grandie, so they will all have a threads blanket for years to come. Great service thankyou Cheers Eve ☺”
