Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“I bought a bassinet blanket as a gift to send overseas for a newborn baby. It was excellent. Beautifully made, great quality, very soft, a perfect gift. The presentation was lovely, wrapped in tissue and placed in a nice calico, drawstring bag. Also, it was delivered very quickly, it was ordered 20/6, posted 26/6, delivered 28/6. I had not heard of this business before and found it by chance when I was googling “newborn baby gifts” online.”

“I love the cot blanket for my beautiful new little niece. I didn’t however receive the cloth bag it was to be packed in. It was well wrapped in tissue and packed in the postage envelope. Is there any chance that you could send me the cloth bag?”

“What an amazing experience. Designing the blanket was so hard with SO many design options available - but was made easier being able to preview the design. I was kept up to date every step of the way & now that the blanket has arrived I couldn’t be more in love. It is AMAZING quality & the beautiful note from Peter & Annie put that personal touch on it.
