Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

“You have made both my angel babies blankets & both times they’ve been nothing less than beautiful, such quality and made with love and the beautiful people who make them, are so appreciative, but it is us the customers that appreciate you! “I was very surprised by the quality of the cot blanket. It's beautiful, very soft and smelt amazing. Delivery took 7 days. It will make the perfect gift for my great nephew when we visit. “I bought a bassinet blanket as a gift to send overseas for a newborn baby. It was excellent. Beautifully made, great quality, very soft, a perfect gift. The presentation was lovely, wrapped in tissue and placed in a nice calico, drawstring bag. Also, it was delivered very quickly, it was ordered 20/6, posted 26/6, delivered 28/6. I had not heard of this business before and found it by chance when I was googling “newborn baby gifts” online.”
