Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“The most beautiful blanket and a perfect gift!! Was made and sent to NZ so quickly and is such a great quality blanket. I loved the note from Annie and Peter which just so happen to also be my parents names, so glad I found this business. I plan to order many more blankets in the future as my friends have babies! 💗”

“Brought this blanket for my niece who was born 13 weeks early and has spent the last month in the nNICU in melbourne… it was the easiest personalised blanket ive ever had made and the shipping was super dooper fast.. the blanket is absolutely perfect.. if i could give more then 5 stars i would!!
