Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“We purchased our customised embroidered blanket at the Melbourne PBC expo. We met the owner Peter and he was so friendly and helpful, we purchased a blanket on the spot! The final blanket has now been created and arrived less than a week after ordering and we are so so happy with the outcome! such a beautiful piece that you can tell has had a lot of time and effort into perfecting. We are sooooo happy with this purchase and cant wait for our little girl to get here to use it!”

“We absolutely love our blanket! The quality is amazing, the colours are amazing and it keeps little man nice and warm! Always sleeps so good with his blanket! We also lay it down on the floor for little man to lay on a comfortable place for some floor time! Now I have to get Miss 3 her own when I can!”

“We received this as a gift for our newborn son from a friend. It is absolutely stunning! Personalised with his name, beautiful colours and fantastic quality. Though our friend got the cot size so he can grow with it and I can not thank them enough. Will definitely be getting one as a gift and for our next born!”

“The blanket l bought for my new grandson was absolutely beautiful, so much so his older brother and sister also wanted one, so l bought 2 more. These blankets are so well made, soft to touch and smell amazing. I would recommend these blankets to everyone, such a wonderful gift for any occasion.”

“Ordered a personalised blanket (cot size) for my best friends baby. I was so impressed with how quickly the blanket came and the quality. The fabric is so soft and it smelled amazing. I will be ordering one for myself when my baby arrives earth side. Highly recommend.”

“Designed a cot size blanket for a famiy friends new baby boy with the bear icon and his name. My daughter in another state was able to see what I had in mind via the website which was great as it was a joint gift. Having it delievered to our friends house was convient and she has expressed how delighted she is with the blanket.”

“I’ve seen photos of the personalized cot blanket I ordered and it looks beautiful. The recipients loved their gift and were very appreciative. It’s such a nice idea!
