Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“You sent my gift to me, after I rang to ensure it would go straight to my son and DIL’s house! They live 90mins from us, and I have trouble driving that distance…..I was very upset, as our premature grandson, needs heating up in himidicribs, and needed this little blanket…..”

“A Special Blanket for Our Grandaughter Across the Miles..... Our newly born, first grandchild recieved many amazing gifts, from many people. We carried them from London to Sydney for her. We wanted a gift, individual to her and her name, Fiadh (Little Wild Deer). A name from her Irish heritage. What better than a beautiful blanket, with her name on it. I was stuck for choice. I ordered the blanket on Friday and recoeved it Monday. I had it posted in her name, her first parcel. Thank you so much. The blanket is beautifully made, soft and cosy. It's used for tummy time at the moment, but it will be used in many different ways, i am sure. Thanks again from two very happy first time Grandparents for being able to make our trip that little bit more special. Liz and Michael London”

“Absolutely beautiful blanket for our new granddaughter Thea 💕 we chose the dolphin design with her name as we are involved with dolphins in Wa, it’s very special and we know it will always be treasured. The quality is exceptional, washed beautifully, would recommend this blanket to anyone….. particularly doting grandparents 😂 for their little beauties, we ordered bassinet size but will order more as she grows.
