Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

“My first grandaughter born on Wed 20 March, learned her name and ordered personalised blanket next day, Thursday, delivery arrived following Monday s as bout 30mins before I arrived to meet her for the first time. The timing was just perfect. The quality of her blanket is unsurpassed. Order process easy and obviously delivery was swift. I chose this Company because the reviews were good, the price was good - but more importantly they are a Melbourne based company. I like to support Australian business. Thank you for an excellent experience.”

“I have ordered two cot blankets from Thread the word for my grandsons they are very good quality and the designs colours are beautiful the Mums and Dads loved them. The delivery was very quick. Our next grandchild is due in July and I'm looking forward to designing another blanket for them. I have recommended Thread the Word to many of my friends.”

“We actually got given a small thread the word blanket for each of our premature twins in 2022 through a lovely charity. The twins still use theirs to this day and absolutely love how warm and beautiful the design is. The fact the blankets have kept their shape is also a big plus! When we found out we were expecting another baby, I couldnt wait to get another blanket. Very happy with this new blanket too.”
