Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

“We received one of these blankets as a gift from a friend with our baby boy in 2020. Our friends have recently had a little bub and I didnt hesitate on the gift idea. This was one of my favourtie gifts and loved the choice of different layouts, colours and fonts. The quality of the material it tops as well! Highly recommend!”

“We absolutely love how the blanket turned out! It was so much fun to make using the website and I love how easy and accessible the site is. We bought a blanket to fit a single sized bed for our firstborn daughter who was born in October 2023. I was delighted to see that the blanket would cover more than just the surface of the bed and would look lovely when she’s older. Absolutely love what this company does and how their products are made in Australia with great quality cotton yarn. We will definitely be coming back to order many more blankets for our future babies!”
