I had a question sent to the website about why the TDS light is red most of the time and does it mean I have to replace it? But I just bought it in August, isn't it too soon to replace the filter? My point is, I never got a response.

While I have gone through all our emails, I can't find any email from you, which might be the reason that you haven't received our response. Please note that you may need to flush the filters for some more to get a more satisfactory TDS reading. Could you please perform the steps below FOUR TIMES, so that approx. 3 gallons of water will be used during the whole procedure? Thank you. 1. Remove the water tank. 2. Empty the remaining water inside the tank. 3. Fill it with fresh tap water. NOTE: Please empty the tank FIRST before filling in fresh water. 5. Empty the internal water tank, video guide: https://streamable.com/a0bysx 6. After the 99-sec countdown, go to step #1 again. If the problem persists, may I have the following info? Thank you: 1. The serial number, which can be found on one side of the system: https://streamable.com/3a1tks 2. It’s a nice design unfortunately the water needs to run for 2 minutes before the PPM goes back down after it’s been off for an hour, so I guess the water sitting in the system becomes dirty sitting there for more then an hour.

I am on my second filter and based on the direction on the system I am suppose to replace the filter when the filter light flashes. I ordered a filter replaced it based on the instruction of the system and got about 30 days in and the filter light is flashing again. At $100 for a filter this is not economical.

The Waterdrop under-the-sink is a slick device. The installation is simple, and the cartridges make it a breeze. I will warn you, however, that the filter won't produce anything more than a dribble of water (and the company will blame your installation and your water supply even though absolutely nothing has changed in your home) UNLESS YOU REPLACE BOTH FILTERS AT THE SAME TIME. This is expensive and silly because one has a longer life span. Horrific customer service with no assistance given to this issue whatsoever, and we have had the Waterdrop unit for several years and have been through this with them every time we change a filter. Replacing them both at once is the only way you can actually get decent water flow out of their spigot.

Usually I have no problem with my filter, but this time I have black debris coming out of the filter and into the water. I like the pitcher, it's perfect size for me.

Hi dear customer, Thanks for your review. If there is some black debris coming from the filter, it is normal for a new filter for it may be carbon. Don't worry about that because it won't affect the taste of water. I had to prematurely replace both the factory installed filters because the flow had decreased to a trickle. No alarms or change in color of light indicators. Once I replaced the MRO filter,flow returned to normal.

Hi Douglas, We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I can understand that the lifetime of our product didn't reach your expectations. Theoretically, the lifetime of your filter should be 2 year/200gallon, the indicator will light up when anyone reaches first. Otherwise, the indicator will not give you any warning. If it doesn't give you any warning when the duration of the filter ended, please feel free to contact us. Furthermore, as noted in our product introduction, the lifetime of the filter may be related to the quality of source water. Therefore, the slow rate you've mentioned is usually caused by bad source water, so it is recommended to you test the quality of your source water. The high TDS of the source water is easy to block the filter element, thus causing the slow flow, that's the reason why you need to replace a new filter to solve your problem. To solve your problem, it is suggested for you install a pre-stage filter WD65S, which may effectively prolong the lifetime of the filters. I was a Zero Water customer for the last 9 years and I recently switched to Waterdrop's gravity filter system. After using Waterdrop for the last month, I have to say, I'm disappointed with the taste of the water vs Zero. Zero always tasted clean and pure, but there's a noticeable taste associated with Waterdrop. The TDS of Waterdrop vs my tap water is nearly identical, while I was always able to achieve a 0 reading with Zero. With that said, I do like the increased 2gallon capacity of my Waterdrop vs Zero so I don't need to fill it as regularly for two people. Overall, I'll continue to try it for the next few months but I much rather prefer the Zero water taste.

I checked the product introduction of your filter system on our website and found that this system wasn't designed to reduce TDS, so, normally, the TDS of filtered water is identical to that of tap water. I love that the cartridges are more carbon than particulate filters, because we do not need particulate filtering. I was disappointed that electricity was required, but realized this is the price to pay for more space under the counter. We live in a rural area and our house is very quiet so the sound is very noticeable. I really wish I could trade the electricity on your unit for a pressure tank. Is that possible? I understand you have a small tank to raise the pressure for a refrigerator line, but I'm sure the electricity will still be required. Is it possible to add a pressure tank that will remove the need for electricity?

I didn't realize that these filters were made in China and appear to be from a different manufacturer than when I originally purchased my under sink filter system. I will be looking for a new unit that is made in the USA.

Good filter but we need more. Our Texas tap water tastes better but still has bad taste. Kids will not drink it.

We bought the RV filter and it does a good job of filtering chlorine taste and odor but does not filter sediment very well at all. Disappointed in that.

Well I ordered replacement filters and an RV filter. I never received the RV filter. How much I called water drop office and reported the issue. They sent me a replacement filter that supposedly got lost in transit. And then they issued me yet another filter but days later I was refunded my money from the RV filter. I’m not sure how I like water drop. The replacement filters that I got were damaged as well but I wasn’t complaining much about that

I often have to remove my white filters and start from scratch with soaking and shaking, but at least I am able to fill several 5 gallon jugs in between.

You need to change your website prices. I ordered the filter based on the one to fit my 17 year old refrigerator and received the lesser priced one. Difference is only a few dollars, but money is money.
