To make matters worse, Yell used a tracking phone number on my Google Business listing without clearly explaining the impact. This redirected organic customer calls (which I built up myself) and presented them as results from Yell’s advertising—skewing the performance data they now use to justify not issuing a refund.
Despite cancelling the contract, Yell has refused to issue a refund, even though the main service I paid for was never provided. I’ve since escalated this to consumer authorities and plan to pursue a small claims court action if needed.
I would strongly advise any small business to be cautious before signing up with Yell. Review all terms carefully and make sure what you are paying for is itemised and guaranteed.”
