I wouldn't touch Yell with anyone else's bargepole any more. Just an awful company. Simple entry level ads package direct debits failed on month 3( not through our fault, there has always been a significant positive balance on this account). Three months went by ( with no leads from Yell) and no comms at all that we were in arrears with them. Sent to collections and an additional £40 fee. Go elsewhere .. Anywhere else other than Yell.com

very poor customer service. Created profile for my business, and they sent me not a 10-digit customer number, but 8-numbers one. This registration error stopped me from being visible in a search. Tried to resolve this via customer chat - it's like talking to a wall. They were pushing me to a paid subscription and didn't want to resolve the problem they created

They’re lucky that they have one star, absolute awful company, there sales team is pushy and will do anything for there sale and promise you the world, we signed up for a 12 month contract with promises of generating decent leads but this never happened After 12 month contract and paying Yell almost £2000 they have generated us a total of 0 leads, we have had no messages from customers using yell We have spoken to Yell regarding our conversely throughout the contract for them to say it all takes time for the profile to attract customers and generate leads which they contradicted themselves when selling us the package when we spoke about leaving they assured us we owed them the full amount or court action will be taken Absolutely disgrace marketing team and company small business avoid at all costs you will be throwing money away

My withdrawal attempts failed for months. Despite my efforts to contact customer service via email, I received no response. Upon realizing I had been scammed and lost my money, I was extremely concerned. Thankfully,COVSECLTD*COM assisted me in recovering my investment from the fraudsters.

These people are liars and a fraud, when they want you to invest with they take you serious and reply you on time but once you invest and fall into their trap they act like they do not know you because that was what happened to me cause they did not allow me have access to my money and i also cannot withdraw my money but all thanks to SP E C TR U M - CR E ST for helping me get back my money from this broker you can reach out to them for assistance and consultation

This is not a legitimate website. They reply fast once they have your money, but they never get back to you if you want to take another withdrawal. I would not have recovered the more than $100,000 that they had stolen from me if it weren't for the people from the investigative company. I complained online to SP E C T R UM - CR ES T and their helpful staff helped me receive a complete refund of my profit and capital too . They are and have always been among my main sources of support and encouragement.

This is official the worst company ever. I paid for an website build and never received the website. I had to pay build it myself. To this day they have not finished the website WORRNING! if you have your website build with WIX business managed by Yell account, you will never own or get the website from them. They will force you to pay £100 per month to have the website. If you try to move it to WIX.com Wix will not accept you to move the website as part of the partnership with YELL . Do not sing anything with YELL.com. You will regret it every day.

Would never recommend absolute con. Sell you a dream, spends hours on the phone and get no where with them. I cancelled my account with them and now trying to say I oh them money for 3 months ago which I apparently frozen. So I rang my bank and they took payment in that month they said I didn’t. And now on the 12th July they paid me money, so rang the bank again and ask is this money that was frozen ?? And they said no yell sent you it and if we froze it it would say it was from my bank. Bunch of cons never use them

We had a call from Andy, who assured us he could significantly boost our business through advertising. He was very friendly and persuasive, convincing us to advertise with them. Once we signed up and granted access to our website and social media, my business account was blocked by Facebook, citing copyright issues with our ads. This blockage prevented us from responding to messages or accessing our business profile, which had over 5,000 followers that took years to build. I was also locked out of my personal Facebook account, as it was linked to the business page. I contacted Andy, who acknowledged that several of his clients had experienced similar issues and promised to look into it. Later, he informed me that his tech team claimed it wasn't their fault and refused to take responsibility. It seemed too coincidental that I was blocked within an hour of them gaining access. Given our blocked account, continuing to advertise was pointless, so I requested to suspend our account. They assured me they would handle it, but I received no further contact. Then, I got a call from their finance team demanding payment. I explained that we wouldn't pay due to the account being hacked through them. Karen, from finance, initially said she couldn't suspend the account and that I was liable for payments. I insisted she review the recordings of my calls with Andy, who assured me the account could be suspended. After months of no communication, I received another call about the outstanding payment. I reiterated that our account should have been suspended. Karen contradicted herself, first saying it couldn't be suspended, then saying it would be suspended if I refused to pay. She also mentioned referring us to a debt collection agency. I told her to put everything in writing as I am taking them to court. Do not trust this company with your money or grant them access to your social media accounts. They lie about website traffic, manipulate click data, and can ruin your business profile to the point of inactivation.

I hire Yell.com to provide our company with marketing services. Not only they didn't deliver on their promises and provide poor results they are continue to send us invoices, telling us we are tied to auto renewal contact, although is not explicit in the contract between us. Don't use them and it is just a scam

Yell sold me a theoretical wonderful web site that promised a lot but never worked correctly. I upgraded and paid more for a booking function and still it did not work. Trying to make changes to my site took forever. If I wanted to change something I had to wait on the phone as the customer service representative change it while I was in hold. Every call took over 1 hours. Frequently much was promised and never delivered. As a parallel process they constantly tried to sell me more products and advertising but zero point if the site was not working. I would never have spent all the money to build the site knowing what I know now. I have had to have to site rebuilt with another company. Never trust yell

Made a review of a tradesman who was 5* rated by yell on the Yell website. The tradesman never returned to complete the contract but took the full contract cost. My review was objective - there were positives but in balance he failed to complete the work and was dully awarded 3 stars. A week later I was notified by Yell that the review was being investigated - I had to supply an invoice of works and was told the review would not be visible during the investigation. In short it was never visible again and to be blunt Yell this is poor practice and you are enabling poor working practices and protecting poor tradesmen from honest review ! How many more negative reviews were removed to give me the impression that this was to be a trusted trader? In short I would consider a damages claim against Yell to be valid.
