You should not be advertising for Express Delivery without having knowledge of the present situation. At this stage and time- there is no such thing as an Express Delivery- which Yellow Octopus has sold out on. Suggests removing this from the website.

Sadly with the extended lockdown in Melbourne, all parcels, including express post, are facing heavy delays with express postage taking 3-5 business days to be delivered. Thank you for your review. Parcels to NZ are taking longer to arrive due to the lockdown in Melbourne and the lack of flights leaving for NZ as well. Shipping to NZ is currently taking about 15-25 business days to arrive. Your parcel is awaiting the next available flight and will be processed by NZ Post soon after landing. I bought a fried chicken candle for my sister as a funny birthday present and it does not smell like chicken in the slightest. My whole family was disgusted by the smell.

The branding iron does not work....you would need to have it heating on a full blown fire to get any result. Very disappointed.

Koala salt and pepper shaker has no holes!!!!!!! The sticker on the back of the book, was impossible to remove and it has tken the coating off the book. I CAN'T see me wanting to repeat this in any way. :-(

I ordered a vintage watch and it didn't even work. It could be that the battery needs to be changed but that's not the point. The point is when you sell your products you need to check if they are working or not or are in good condition or not before you ship them. I was going to give it to my friend as a gift on her birthday but since it didn't work and because of lockdown and curfew I couldn't get it fixed, I couldn't give it to her. I am not buying anything from yellow octopus again.

I ordered 2 presents for a Kris kringle. One was a loch Ness soup ladle and the other was latte socks in a takeaway coffee cup. The photos online are misleading as when they arrived, not only were they Alot smaller in person but the latte socks 'most size fits all' is not at all accurate. they are just terrible brown socks with a slight design at the top to look like a top of a coffee. The soup ladle is wayyy smaller and would only got into a very small pot. It is also a bad quality. I understand they are just KK presents and didn't expect premium or anything at all but I was quite disappointed with both items.

We purchased a Gramophone which arrived in very poor packaging and when we opened the box there was clear and visible damage. Also the gramophone did not play at the correct speed. No refund for returned goods either

As the item is a vintage gramophone, it is mainly for display purposes than for regular usuage, so the sound quality will not be comparable to modern vinyl players. I understand the delay in postage given the current restrictions in Victoria. However, the personalised card I purchased with my gift did not arrive. Instead someone elses's card was included in the gift. I have phoned and have been assured that the correct cards will be sent express post. As this was a gift, its quite embarrassing to have the wrong card arrive with the gift. Also be offered to either be refunded or resend the correct card seems insufficient for a pretty significant error. Im not sure that I would recommend this service or use it again
