Dealing with YOPA was a pleasure. The team are friendly and attentive, the sign up process was really straight forward and they were always on the other end of the phone to answer any of my questions

Yopa is great, All the support i needed throughout the process, with a set fee. Instead of taking a big percentage like most estate agents! There really isn't a negative to say.

I've used Yopa to sell my property and so far they've been good and my local agent seems to have good knowledge of the current market and my area. I've had quite of lot of viewings and their website is easy to use to manage viewings (as I don't like the estate agent showing people around my house, I can do this myself), it saves me lots of money compared to the typical 1% that high street Estate Agents charges. The only thing I would say is, the agent will not chase your offers and feedbacks from viewings, you have to do most of the work once the property is listed on Rightmove or Zoopla, which is fine for me. If anyone wants to use Yopa get £100 discount, use discount code of "willkwan" which you are welcome to use.

Our YOPA agent (Lynburge) was really nice!!! We booked a valuation and he called us on the day to confirm and came on time. Reachable whenever we needed him, supportive, open and honest. The YOPA dashboard made it easy to view valuation or contact agent.

Well, it was sure quick and easy, though I must say I'm surprised at the figure of £465K to £515K. We have no immediate plans to sell in a rush but this is a very useful guide to how someone thinks the market has moved. I need to check with a local agent and see if he concurs with the figure. As we paid £7,600 some 40 years ago I guess we won't lose out overall.

Very quick response on valuation, even though we're not planning to sell quite yet. Will certainly investigate YOPA's services when we do.

On first contact seem to offer a comprehensive package. Valuation good, maybe slightly high, but if they can get it all success to them. Am now considering their services against a local, very much more expensive agent, and considering what extra we get from the local agent. A little oversold on the phone, but they are new and have to find where best to pitch themselves with what is a different service to the traditional agent.

Not a good service and let me explain why, firstly when putting my house on the market and the yopa agent Colin came he overpriced my home, offered such a good service that we chose to go with them and to go with the option to pay when sold because we were sure we would sell and Colin definitely said we would sell (sales jargon) or if we decided to take it off the market then we would still have to pay, so when you go with that option you are passed on to a credit agency (this was not explained on the visit) so they have their money so it doesn't matter if they sell our property or not so the latter happened, terrible sales team! we had 3 viewers and our property was on the market for 8 months and just offered a market break which I agreed and not heard anything since only from the credit company to pay their money of £1399.00, so all we done really was to just throw our hard earned cash in the bin! They just don't care! My property by the way is a lovely 4 bedroom house around Dartford and is in good order so if they had done what was promised we would of sold it, just steer clear for your own sanity and go with a reputable estate agent, you might have to pay a little more but it is worth it, we will definitely be doing this next time we put our property on the market, we have definitely learnt by our mistakes

I found Yopa very helpful all through the stages of buying ... The problem came on completion where we were going to be left sitting outside my new home for hours 4 to 5 to be exact while the agent was off selling more houses with our keys ... it seemed as soon as it completed we were the last thing on her mind .. she was miles away with a full list of viewings.. The keys are not available until she decided to drive over at end of her day ..had it not been for my daughter driving over to fetch them miles away we would have been on drive for hours.. I would not buy a house with an on line estate agent again ..or sell through them as it would be unfair for the buyers

The agent didn't tell us everything that was included in contract. He picked the wrong contract for us knowing all the info we gave. Then we couldn't get out of it and had to pay . Do not use these, sell yourself or go to a high street agent. Will not use or advise anyone to use.

Yopa are only good if you sell your property quickly, even then the after sales is poor at best. You get no feedback after viewings so you have no idea on people's opinions on your property, in times like this when the market is changing Yopa do not give you any assistance as they already have you locked in with their pre-payment offers. If you use Yopa you have to be prepared to do a lot of work yourself.

I stupidly decided to go with Yopa and fell for their lies. Neill Challinor acted as my agent selling my house. He's a liar, plain and simple. Extremely difficult to get hold of, arranged viewings and then never showed up and then blamed me! I had email evidence to the contrary which was brushed aside by their complaints team. Two stars as Jack in the office was actually pleasant to deal with but needless to say I'll never sell a house with them again and it'd have to be an absolute dream house to consider buying something they list.

We bought a house where the agents are YOPA. The only contact we've had with YOPA was when we made an offer, apart from that we've never had any contact apart from them chasing us (for no reason). We had to do the viewing with the owners because the agent was unavailable, and we moved into the house 2 days ago but YOPA still haven't given us the 2nd set of keys (we had to get the keys through the previous owners). I've chased a lot and have pretty much been ignored, sure it can't be legal for some random agent to hold on to keys we now own! Definitely changing the locks. Honestly useless, I'd never use them to sell a house.

I was initially afraid that paying up front for this type of thing would leave them little motivation to sell my property. What I hadn't considered was that the time this would show up would act be after I had an offer. Normal agents don't get paid until completion, and so they care about the deal getting done. I accepted my offer 3 months ago and no sight of exchange. Agent doesn't care or respond, why would he he got paid months ago. Other issues were already frustrating me - the ad pictures were terrible, the agent kept moving my viewings to the following Saturday so he didn't have to do them - really poor even by estate agent standards. All tolerated as I thought pay peanuts get monkeys. Well it wasn't really that much cheaper than using a real estate agent and now I'm spending far more on storage and losing on lost rental income so this was all in all a terrible idea. Just use a normal agent. They are motivated to sell the property both at advertising stage and after the offer. They also care about increasing your offer, whereas my Yopa agent just wanted any offer I got to go through. Basically the obvious issues with this model are real and present and I'm now paying for being so stupid as to pay an estate agent up front. I also got a slightly cheaper rate from Yopa in exchange for using one of their referred solicitors.... Surprise surprise, they are appalling too. No replies for weeks, they don't seem to know what's going on. Do not use this company, unless it's literally £4-5,000 cheaper than an agent you will likely regret it. I haven't saved anything in the end and the stress is definitely not worth it. Shame, really wanted this to be the answer to having to deal with rubbish estate agents but I suppose it makes sense that the very worst of them end up in the fixed fee market. Obvious really.

Selling the house was good. Once that was done we heard nothing, no response to any correspondence. Quite rude messages back, changed agent 3 times. I've moved out and the agent (who initially got the move date wrong) still hasn't collected the keys from me.
