No dedicated agent. Goes on holiday and doesn't inform clients, no one to cover the absence (no one who has a clue anyway). Never on time for appointments, never rang back despite being called to task over this on several occasions. Didn't check progress of sale and didn't have a clue where it was up to. didn't check financial viability of buyers who were obviously overstretched. No confidentiality, no communication.Gave personal details to other parties. Didn't follow instructions. Difficult to decide who the agent was actually working for. Ultimately sale was lost. Complete debacle from start to finish. would not recommend at all. Haven't even responded to complaint. good mind to go to ombudsman

Tried to arrange a viewing got an email to viewing time to be confirmed. Had to follow up by telephone to see if viewing time was confirmed only to be told it was under offer. Then got an email to say "viewing declined!" Terminology is in rather bad taste, better to say "apologies but property is under offer" would be more appropriate!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The reason I went with Yopa in the first place was the review site showed them to be exceptional in the selling of peoples properties. Having looked at review comments regarding this company they appeared to have a very high standard of work ethics. Unfortunately this was not the case after signing the contract, reviews appeared to have drastically changed. The property was overvalued from the beginning and had to be reduced after a short amount of time of being on the market. If you tell your representative, and also when completing the application form that you do not want a Yopa sign putting up at the property this does not make a difference as it was still done. I specifically told my representative REBECCA PRIOR that I didn’t want a sign on the empty property. In another incident she left one potential buyer standing on the door step due to ‘a misunderstanding of viewing date/time’. She was very bad at communicating, trying to get her to reply to voicemail/texts and email from myself and potential buyers was ridiculous. Even when the contracts were due to be exchanged, lack of response from anybody working at Yopa was a joke. Putting a complaint in did not make any difference with the company, as the service I received did not improve.

Tried to arrange a viewing for a flat that we were interested in, but it became a mine field of constant problems. They rebooked days without telling us, then the agent was ill but failed to tell us. Tried rebooking and spoke to several people who promised to call back but never did. Feel really sorry for the sellers. We've given up and gone elsewhere. Would actively avoid this agency at all costs now.

I had my property up for sale for 9 months with 3 viewings, I had to contact the agent to suggest we reduce the price (the price she said) One lady who contacted Yopa direct for a viewing said they were so unhelpful couldn't believe their attitude. I have contacted Yopa myself, missed a call and trying to ring back that person is impossible, asked by everyone what I'm calling about and put on a very long hold to be told hes not available. I want to speak to Yopa head office only to be told they can't be contacted by telephone, very dodgy!

Had an offer we made on a property verbally accepted. The agent spoke to the seller who was (seemingly) happy with the offer and it was noted “under offer” on all advertising platforms. That was on the Saturday and our solicitor was to fax through the written offer on the Monday. So far so good. Except my solicitor couldn’t get hold of the agent and she didn’t respond to his messages. I had a call late in the afternoon to say another offer had come through that morning which was 4K more than ours - and the seller wanted us to match it. Now we are straying into gazumping territory and we don’t really tolerate that within our system here in Scotland. Plus it’s just a shitty thing to do. We’ve withdrawn our offer and have had no contact from Yopa. We are about to sell but now we’ve had a taste of how these big call centre estate agents operate we won’t touch them with a barge pole. Beware buyers and sellers

Seriously shocking service. once they put that for sale board up they have no interest whatsoever. All they are after is money at the end of the sale with no help or communication in between. My house sold twice and both times fell through. Speaking to both buyers I can honestly say this was mainly due to Yopa's lack of interest in communication ans any kind of help to save those sales. And to top it off they lost the house key between them and the solicitors which took me 4 weeks to find out after numerous constant messages and phone calls and lack of feedback & silence from them!!!!!! ..... and we're now having the hassle of having to replace the locks because they washed their hands if it!!!!!! We have thankfully taken it off the market with the shower of sh**e agents. Anyone I spoke to who had dealings with yopa say the same about them .... Do NOT sell or buy through yopa you'll lose your mind and your Sanity!!!!!!

""I was a buyer of a house marketed by yopa. I was told by the vendor (who did the viewings) that all in the chain were "ready to go". I made an offer on that basis. The sales memo done by yopa stated that the vendor did not have a property lined up, was still looking for a property, and had not even got a mortgage offer in principle. I emailed yopa to ask them to confirm the position and never got a reply. After a week, I then rang the agents acting on my vendors purchase, who confirmed that the chain was not yet complete. A week or so later these agents kindly rang me to say the chain was complete and so I instructed solicitors to go ahead and paid for searches etc. After nearly 4 months of total silence from yopa and very little activity from the vendors solicitors, I emailed yopa to ask what was going on. No reply. I spoke to my local friendly agents again, as before, and they told me that further up the chain somebody had pulled out. At this point, my lack of confidence that the transaction was going anywhere was confirmed and I pulled out, having paid for searches/survey etc. Several weeks later, the property is still marked as SSTC. As an aside, the house was described by yopa as "lovingly maintained", but was very far from that. Prior to this, I had sold a property myself through local agents, who were excellent in terms of keeping the transaction moving and the parties informed. They were worth every penny. I would not touch yopa with a bargepole.

I took the full package including viewings. In the sales pitch they make false promises about how flexible they are and can do next day and weekend viewings but none of it is true. My house was on the market with them for 2 months in which the agent failed to turn up for 2 viewings wasting time for potential buyers one of whom travelled for more than 100 miles. Had 3 different agents in the 2 months period which shows they have a high staff turnover and seemed like the agents have no clue about the areas. They agreed to refund me £150 out of the £1100 I paid to them, this was more than 3 months ago and after constant reminders I still have not received the agreed compensation.

Hopeless, negative - you are forgotten once you have paid upfront. Do not bother, go elsewhere. Completely rubbish. You complain, they ring you up, promise the world then forget about you once the phone goes down. The worst estate agent, I thought purple bricks was bad, these are worse

As a buyer Yopa have been a nightmare. They never contact you back, and when my offer was revised and then accepted they didn't resubmit memorandum of sale for 3 weeks. The seller is using their solicitors and so far it has taken 4 weeks and still they are not responding to my solicitor or anyone.....terrible!

Over valued my property to get my business, 8 viewings in the space of 3 months, no one rings from their support team to give feedback, AVOID at all cost, use them if you want to loose your money as I have. I have logged a complaint, week later no call.

1) During the free valuation, they valued my property at GBP 165,000. Then, after I instructed Yopa to sell my property, they said I am more likely to receive GPB 145,000. So they overvalued just to get my business. 2) The screwed the for sale board into a brand new wooden gate without checking with me. 3) I was never able to speak to their sales support team. They always offered that someone would call me back, and they never did. 4) The agent was impossible to get hold of. He did not reply to messages. 5) And worst of all, they maned to loose my house keys - go figure!

We share the experience of many of your negative reviewers. AVOID THIS COMPANY! They are not professional estate agents. We had to write our own details and then ask for several corrections when they were uploaded, the photos taken were appalling, we were promised things that never eventuated, including a £200 cashback if we signed with them. We had one immediate viewer and then nothing. We have tried to implement a complaints procedure following their guidelines and have received no response in two weeks, not even an acknowledgement of receipt. Someone should investigate this company. The agent who signed us up was nothing more than a con-man.

Wish I had read the recent reviews on here rather than what Yopa put up on their site. A really bad experience overall with Yopa and very disappointing. They are vey good at portraying a value for money service but through experience of using Yopa they lack the business structure to follow through on what they first convey and are definitely not a professional business. I am gutted I have been suckered into using Yopa, never again and I would recommend to avoid this using this business, unless you want a substandard service and to be ripped off. Do not use Yopa!

Thought I would save some money by using Yopa. How wrong! This company is verging on fraudulent, the estate agents that Yopa use have nice suits but do not have clue about selling houses. Avoid this company.

Very bad service. This is not a proper estate agent and can not provide the service that it portrays. To keep the stats up the agents lie about the viewings completed and even when I withdrew from Yopa they put it up as Sold. Overall a very bad service from a sub standard company. Company is a joke!
