Tried to book a viewing through an agent who doesn't know what bloody day it is Booked for Saturday 22nd Feb at 12.30 She changed it to the 20th Feb for 13.15 Cancelled this viewing as unable to make weekdays and messaged Said she doesn't do Sunday viewings. Confirmed the 22nd of February 2025 is in fact Saturday and not Sunday. They clearly don't want to do any viewings.

Yopa is unjustly claiming £1,200 after my sale fell through due to the buyer's frustration and eventual withdrawal. This entire process dragged on for 10 months. I was assigned a solicitor by them, which required extensive micromanagement on my part. Their agent, despite being young and inexperienced, added to my frustrations as I constantly had to chase for updates. They provided me with a solicitor but insisted they are not affiliated with their services, raising further concerns about the support I received. Going to watch dog with this , must not be the only person, their doing this to. Stay away from this company and its solicitors ..

Avoid at all costs. My parents chose Yopa to sell their house. They regret their decision, no sale, 1 viewing, Unprofessional staff, months of silence from agent, incorrect information on house details which we had to highlight. No sale but had to pay fee. I feel that as Yopa have a guaranteed payment from you they don't actually have to do anything to sell your house, there is no incentive for them to do so and their attitude mirrors this!

Unprofessional. Lost all details within 1 day then sent emojis asking for them again. DO NOT WASTE your time with these jokers.

Similar to many other reviews. YOPA reactive not proactive . Advised huge drop on asking price within two weeks and again about 4 weeks later . I appointed another estate agent and the difference was immense . YOPA only seemed to get viewings if I had a viewing already booked with the other agent . Then no communication for months . I contacted their complaint dept who said everything had been carried out properly so I contacted the property ombudsman. They take ages too. They asked me for payment for the contract 3 months before it was due but on the due date... No communication , invoice . Nothing 2 months AFTER. I'd sold my house I got an email from the agent to tell me he had an interested cash buyer... So he didn't even know the house was sold. I still haven't paid due to the Ombudsman seemingly looking at the case ..Ironically they're having to work harder to get the money off me than they did trying to sell my house. Dozens of 1 star reviews say it all

They overvalued our property and then pressurised to reduce once they had our business. Two viewings in over 3 months and I had to do one myself as the agent would not do weekend viewings. I now realise that once the fixed fee is in place, they don't need to try any more as this is payable after 10 months even if the property is not sold.

Avoid this estate agent at all costs! My experience was frustrating and disappointing. After my property failed to sell with Yopa due to poorly trained staff, and inadequate support, we had to switch to another agent who sold it within a week. Yopa even removed our property from the market without consent after we raised a complaint about their poor service. On top of that, they caused unnecessary stress by attempting to take the full fee prior to it selling, which led to issues with my bank. Even after selling it with another estate agent, Yopa still wanted the fees! We don't believe we should have paid the full fee for such poor service. If you're selling, look elsewhere, in fact go to your local estate agent not an online one like Yopa.

YOPA in sussex continue to list a property , even though they have been informed by litigation solicitors the property is part of a probate court case. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy.

Just adding to another reviews. This company is a scam, why are they still allowing to work . I wish I would never come across or someone would give an advice, I have seen 5 stars reviews on Trust Pilot and trusted them. Don’t even think to get them around .

Booked to see a house that had just come to market yesterday. Today traveled 1.5 hrs and they didn't turn up. When I called, no apologise, was just told it was sold. This was a cash only purchase and something doesn't add up. Must have sold it to a mate, surely a good agency would a) turn up and b) see if I was prepared to pay more?

I'm a buyer and half way through there was a change in the estate agent. The new one called Tanya is absolutely terrible at her job. You have to continuously chase for any updates and then on the day if completion when I simply needed to pick up the keys from her I've had to call her over 5 times and no response, multiple messages etc. Called headoffice they said I would just have to "hound her". It isn't that difficult to respond to a buyer, I am planning to sell my other house soon and I will 120% not be using Yopa, terrible service. I'd leave 0 stars if possible.

I question what they do to earn their money. Was with them for a few months , no communication , no viewings. Place it with another agent and the property got sold within six weeks .

Selling my bungalow using their Lincoln office had one of their agents call me after a couple of months of no veiws advising me to drop the price, later I had a potential buyer contact me saying he was interested but yopa had told him they were fully booked until the end of January fo viewings even thought I live in the property and I'm doing my own viewings, he also told me that when he'd tried to contact the Lincoln office they didn't answer his calls, very very dodgy wouldn't recommend

I cannot warn potential sellers enough to avoid this agent. As someone has bought and sold many houses and dealt with many different estate agents, my recent (but not past) experience with YOPA has been something of a nightmare. Agents going missing with no communication for months only to find that the agent has left their employment with YOPA and a new agent who is finally appointed to you 3 months later fails to communicate, lying when they do communicate and not acting when actions have been agreed. They have devalued the price of my property, the main office have lied about my complaint being escalated to the complaints department and dismissing the lack of inaction by agents. I asked for an extension on my contract when finding that it is a contract where I have to pay irrespective of the actions (or inactions in my case) of the agent, but the request has been rejected despite providing evidence of the lack of action. Please, please go elsewhere, do not fall prey to a bogus contact. The T&C stipulate nothing that YOPA will do for you - the onus is all on the seller.

Connie Fisher is a lazy agent! Takes rubbish photos and couldn’t market a home to save her life! Do not waste your money!!! I’d personally give 0 stars, my partner says of Yopa, they’re cowboys!
