“Dealing with them has been far from a pleasant experience, requested a valuation for my home and the agent just did not turn up at all. I then viewed a property through them and the agent I dealt with had an incredibly rude tone the whole time only to tell me no offer I made would be considered as I didn’t have my own property on the market but the vendors themselves also had no new property to go to. Steer clear they’re not worth agro.”

“Scam!!! Do not use! They overvalue the property, tie you into a contract, do nothing to sell your house (other than add to Rightmove), then forcefully chase you for their excessive bill! I lost my home, business and equity as a result!!”

“Not impressed with this company. I expressed interest in viewing a property via their booking portal, which unbeknownst to me was already sstc weeks before! They obviously fail to update the status of properties in a timely manner and I only found out post cancellation of my viewing request !Having read all these shocking reviews, I'm not surprised at such a basic oversight on their behalf.”

“I worked with estate agent Shane Montague & Jazz Ettienne The first agent who originally valued the property quit and was advised a valuation that was within an agreeable sale value. I went ahead with the instruction based on what he said but since then there hasn’t been a single viewing and the new agent who took over thinks we should reduce the sale price by £50,000. Yeah right! That is completely unacceptable. These people are supposedly professional which are to be trusted. I have asked to cancel the sales process but now I have to pay the full Yopa fee of £1499 which despite numerous complaints, I have been told is non-negotiable! Yopa are absolute thieves and the worst kind of estate agents. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! (I have taken part of this review from another Complaint reviewer Sarah A as I had a very similar experience - hope that's OK). I want to sue Yopa, what an absolute disgrace.”

“Not even worth 1 star. Over value the property to kock you in as a customer. Don't out effort in with images or descriptions, needed to adjust advert many times on wrong information. Agent never turned up on viewings, all ways on the sick Once we raised a complaint agent then quit and we changed agent. Now they are chasing for the fees when in reality all they did was lie anamd cause stress. Don't even go near these scammers.”

“Not a good experience. Minimal contact from the agent. Although we asked for the agent to conduct viewings, the only ones we got were when she was on holiday , so we did them. In the months that we were on with yopa we had 3 viewings. Questions went unanswered, no feedback ever. Still nothing after reducing the price so we added another local agent. Three weeks later and we are sold. Obviously their agents just list the property and sit back knowing they're getting £1400 anyway. My advise is steer clear and get a local agent instead. Wouldn't use them again”

“AVOID yopa in South Yorkshire, they did absolutely nothing to help with our sale. Said they would get us a price and then just kept telling us to drop it, not doing as we asked. Went with another estate agents and completed in 8 weeks. Pathetic wouldn’t use them if they were the last on earth.”

“Brett from bury branch refusing to give me my house keys. I have made the complaint t trading standards and to the police who are investigating this Matter. 1 year with them hardly any interest. Went to Keenan's and sold the property within 2 weeks... Please avoid at all costs”

“!!!DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS AGENT!!! They fix you in to a contract which they do not uphold, missing viewings, don't return calls/emails, no feedback, not returning keys, appalling customer service, and then insist you still pay the £2k fee! I am having to go through the Property Ombudsman now as Yopa's complaints procedure is an absolute joke!”

“Once you agree to the fee they will not put any effort in selling your house. People that used to come to view my house were telling me that they were trying to get in touch with Yopa for weeks to arrange a viewing. Yopa couldn't sell the house for months. Once I changed agent it was sold in 10 days under the same interest rate conditions.”

“Sadly 0 stars isn’t an option! The estate agent I had must be the laziest, biggest ‘storyteller’ of all time! Absolutely useless, rarely called, took three viewings and expected £1299 for her laziness! When I complained she made up another 9 viewings that were all ‘cancelled’! Yopas ‘investigator’ looked in to the matter in all of a few hours and informed me nothing untoward was done! I’m going to the ombudsman because I’m fuming about such a bunch of scammers especially Connie Fisher! Do Not hire these lying bandits!”

“Had premium package, pictures were dreadful! I even had to send my own pics! Did not hear from agent after going live, despite her saying she will be there every step of the way! Had only one viewing and property been on the market for months due to absolutely terrible pics with no room measurements. Disgusted by this service, will not recommend to anyone”

“Yopa lincoln,my review would have been a good 1 if it wasn't for the fact that they pushed Gilson Grey on to me & I didn't realise that if I wanted to use my own solicitors it would have been another £200 to use yopa,I wish I h paid the £200 now,look atbthe reviews of Gilson Grey,don't take my word for it,I tried to contact Mat regarding this with emails & phone calls & didn't even get a reply,I don't think this is the 1st time as like I say,he never even replied,my opinion would be to just use someone else,they can be any worse”

“Yopa is a scam, this company is not interested in selling your house they are only interested in making you sign up for the fee and then they don’t turn up for viewings, don’t follow up and respond to queries. I managed to get an offer for my property after 3 months on the market but the buyer pulled out because both Yopa and their recommended solicitor did not respond to queries and dragged the transaction for more than 6 months. Frustrated with them, I said I no longer want to sell with them and since then they have just being chasing me for the fees. They then handed it over to debt collection agents who have been chasing me for months but I complained to the TPO - who have also gone quiet. Please avoid them, this company has also lost a lot of business like purplebricks because of the poor service they provide.”

“Totally reactive not proactive marketing . Foolishly I signed up for the pay regardless contract. So after very few viewings, ,1 poor , non sustainable offer and no activity in months I now pay out Over £1500 for very little. In a third of the time , the local estate agents had 3 times the viewings and the property is due to complete at the end of the month . On hindsight, that wonderful gift we all wish we had. I wouldn't touch Yopa with a bargepole. I lodged a formal complaint with them and was right royally fobbed off as expected. Yopa have made their money and they just don't care. Everyone should read these comments before signing that worth nothing contract . I wish I had ( 1 star because I couldn't give them any less )”
