AVOID AVOID AVOID If I could give -5 stars I would. We were buying a house that was being sold through Yopas estate agent Neil Challinor in Tewksbury. To put it politely, he does the bare minimum and even that is lazy. Right at the start of the process they make you pay £85 to sign into their portal, which does absolutely nothing and if you try to communicate with someone on there it will go nowhere. We’re 5 months on from signing up to the portal and still to this day have no had replies to our messages on there. We tried to avoid contact with yopa and all costs and ended up contacting the sellers directly, which I honestly believe saved the sale for us. After multiple lies and excuses from Neil, we decided that if this house was to be ours, we had to do it ourselves. Neil refused to arrange a plumber to come and service the boiler and ended up asking the sellers to arrange. Luckily for us they were very understanding people and helped us with every ask. This should have been what Neil was paying them for!! The day we exchanged keys was the most anticlimactic day and sadly did not go the way you imagine it. When keys had been released Neil didn’t have time ti come and exchange and was no where to be seen. Instead the sellers had to arrange to leave us keys in a lock box and grant us access to the garden!! We are now 3 weeks into being in our new house and Neil STILL HAS OUR KEYS!! And Neil, if you read this, pop the keys in the letterbox please, or I will take it further. Thank you

Yopa Slough, Scammers avoid them, and the chain collapses because of them. Almost £7000 was lost because of them. Unprofessional way of dealing with things. Dishonest agents and always not available, and the chain collapses because of them. They don't answer emails or calls, and agents disappear without informing us. The worst experience. They are cheap because they don't do the job at all. Avoid them avoid them

Appalling experience as a prospective buyer. Never answer phone calls, WhatsApps or emails. Only interested in up-selling other services. Never available to view the property or to get tradesmen in. AVOID

This is a Genuine review about our experience with Yopa estate agent. No sale no fee is a lie! Yopa Demanding payment from us when our house has not yet sold, and the payment is £1,000 more then what we agreed to, we would have never agreed to sign up with Yopa if we had been told this from the beginning. We are still in complaints with Yopa, but nothing has been resolved. Also a viewer complained to us that the Yopa agent made it difficult to book a viewing and they had to wait 2 weeks when we were absolutely free and available to show them our property. The viewer said they would never go with Yopa to sell their house with the experience they had to view ours. No surprise as to why our house has only had 3 viewings and still unsold. As a seller I would never recommend Yopa

I desperately wanted to sell my house so I could move to my parents house who had recently passed away I was told don’t worry we will get you moved A few viewings no interest I dropped it 20 k Then asked what should I do to make it more sellable I’ll have a look she said A day later she came back with her answer Modern auction After a phone call I was told to drop another 20k off the price Didn’t do it but there was no effort whatsoever After 50 days on market I accepted I wasn’t going to sell quickly enough Then came the horror of having to pay 1500 for virtually nothing They are con men of the highest degree My mum and dads house is gone forever Avoid like the plague

Didn't even get past the starting line. Booked in for valuation but nobody turned up. No explanation or apology. Will now use a proper estate agent. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!!

This is the worst estate agent in Bristol. They are keen to exchange. Once it is done, you can only wish you would be lucky to get hold of the agent to get keys. Annie Bailey has given us three different addresses to collect keys BS13, BS7, BS22. We had to chase around her appointments to get the keys. Ridiculous. She said she’s doing us a favour.

The agent did not provide any feedback from the vendor on the offer made. She spoke with me on the phone after I made the offer (in writing) saying the offer is low and that she would communicate to the vendor (as she has to as per Estate Agents Act). Then disappeared until 9 days later when I emailed to ask. Not professional.

BIGGEST ESTATE AGENT SCAMMERS Failed to tell me in person that I owe the money regardless selling the property or not. Or if I change my mind taking off it the market. Upsold me the best package then failed to get me one single viewing. And told me the markets not very strong at the moment. That’s why no viewings. It’s her job to no the market. Then took £2k out my account. 6 months from signing with them. Avoid. Complained and disregarded anything I said. Legal robbery. I not say her name because they all sing of same song sheet. Had to take a loan out to pay for it.

Don’t trust them, they knew we wanted to use outr family solicitor right from initial valuation of property and at no time did they’re area sales rep Callum come clean be honest and say there was an opt out fee of £300 they done this to others on trust pilot review I saw so honesty and integrity they have none I’m afraid. I was also selling another house in Pontypridd darlows dealt with it and was brilliant. I’m having to meet buyer to hand over keys now sales gone through they’ve done nothing for us at all

Put a property up for sale with yopa, who initially over-valued the property, so no interest at all. After a month, told them to knock £10k off the price, then started to receive interest (4 separate potential buyers, a week apart each). However, each time, they would reschedule the viewing for the next day, and then, the morning of that re-arranged day, they would cancel with 'no reason given', never to be heard from again. One time maybe, but 4 times with exactly the same pattern? Suspicious, to the point where I doubt those 'potential buyers' even existed in the first place. The yopa agent was lazy, to the point where we had to tell them to make additions to missing information on the listing, which could take days at a time...and that's if they even bothered to reply to our initial messages or reminder messages and ignored/missed calls. After having enough of the stupid games they were playing, we requested to pull the property from the listing. Of course, as soon as that was done, the yopa payment team was straight onto us, demanding the money from us as we removed our property (vs the pay later option if the property had stayed up). After a week (having, regrettably, already made the payment despite them not doing anything beneficial for us), the yopa payments called us AGAIN, demanding payment. Explained it had already been made, and they said they will confirm but will call back if they can't see it. They didn't call back. Amazing how efficient their payments team is, but their actual sales/customer service team are borderline useless. We missed out on our dream property due to yopa, otherwise we would be in our new home by now. Please, for your own peace of mind, AVOID!

They couldn't sell toffees in a Toffee Factory, disgraceful, please for your own sanity don't ask them to sell your house, they need to go back to basics and learn what a phone is, and learn that when a customer calls, ...answer it, because it might mean they want to view a house.... horrendous experience with prospective house buyers all complaining about the lack of service they've received.

I turned up for an arranged viewing to see a sold sign up at the property. I still wanted and phoned the mobile of the Yopa employee who did not answer his phone so I left a message and waited but NOTHING. After the 8 emails I've received in 8 days not one said your viewing is cancelled as the property has sold. This wasted my evening, I had left work early and was looking forward to the viewing. I have a few properties and never have I dealt with such awful communication and service. Steer clear of YOPA

Yopa is a joke! We been on a market with them for the passed 5 weeks, with a newly done property which has an amazing statistic on Rightmove and zoopla of people interested in our property, we only had one viewing booked, which doesn't make any sense. We then find out our self that sale representative of our properly (who by the way convinced us to go with Yopa) has left the company, and no one told us, they have not communicated with us at all not answering phone calls, ignoring emails. We raised a formal complaint as for a while we had no one representing our property, again ignored us, no answer. We asked to take our properly of the market and no answer, and now they telling us to pay the fee, for what? they have not done anything. on top of that speaking to viewings manager she hang up the phone on us!!! Absolute joke! the worst company we ever had! If you thinking of going with them please don't, save yourself a disaster experience and and horrible headaches!!

Do not use. I asked for the contract to be a no sale. No fee. The agent came out told me to press on that deal which I did on his I pad. I should have read it but I trusted him. He actually set me up with no sale and a £1400 fee at the end. I took them to the ombudsmen and they said yoga provided evidence to support their claim. How can they provide evidence if it was word of mouth. But as usual. The big man wins. I got £200 reduced from bill due to agent not updating me on progress. I had 2 viewings of which one he left all my lights on all day. And as for other viewing I don’t think it really happened as neighbours saw no car !! They were not helpful in any way. Do not use. If you do get every thing in writing.
