I am using it as a precordial stethoscope intraoperatively to monitor breathing. It keeps losing connection with my phone and also it turns itself off after a while. It would be nice if it stays on and also stay connected to my phone for a longer time since most of my cases are a few hours long. Thanks.

amplification is good. Works well eveb in a moving ambulance. Pulmonary abd cardiac sound filters are very good but woild be better if i could switch on the unit rather than opening the app (there's a middle button between volume which does nothing currently) Playing sounds through the phone speaker over Bluetooth is poor. Almost inaudible.

I like it. I attached the eko to an stethoscope head. I connect wirelessly to beats x headphones. I use a small baggy around the scope with each patient and toss after. This way contactless. The tubing on my scope had turned to concrete with all the alcohol rubdowns. This is working very well.

Pros: ease of pairing, ability to magnify audio signals well, able to use the attachment with my Tycos stethoscope head for good audio quality, and relatively sterile (putting my Core attachment and stethoscope head in a disposable ziplock bag). Cons: The recorded heart sounds are very soft most of the time - you can turn up the volume to hear it better, but won't change the recorded volume. And sharing the audio files through the dashboard makes them almost inaudible. Hoping for the following improvements: The recorded volume can be better. In this age where medical students may not be able to do hands-on examination, if there is a way to record and share these audio clips for teaching, it will make this even more useful.

I am a recent Registered Nurse graduate and an experienced ICU Respiratory Therapist. I just accepted an ICU RN Residency where I will be trained in critical care on 5 ICUs: cardiac, medical, surgical, neuro, and burn. Two of these units have been converted to COVID units and I want the benefit of hearing crisp, clear heart and lung sounds wirelessly through my earbuds while my CORE Digital Attachment and diaphragm are safely contained inside a plastic covering. This reduces the risk of becoming contaminated while putting a regular stethoscope in and out of my ears. The added recording feature allows me to audibly hear and visually see a graphical representation of the sounds at a later time for charting, as well as share them with a physician if necessary. I look forward to my training session with your Customer Experience team tomorrow, and I look forward to clearly hearing heart, lung, and bowel sounds in the sometimes noisy ICU environment.

I’ve been using the EKO CORE since 1/2020 and I won’t go back! So I actually have 3 of these. One for each of my stethoscopes. I have the littman master and cardiology 3 and 4 stethoscopes. I’m a Hospitalist PA and I’m usually admitting from the ED. It’s excellent for noisy environments. The older version is heavy around your neck, so I use a holster and it’s fine. I recharge once a week and seldom forget to turn off. It’s got excellent amplification. And it’s easy to use. One suggestion. I’ve misplaced my steth at home ( you don’t want to leave it anywhere at work) and I could have used a “find my core” feature on the app. Pls consider this! Otherwise. Definitely a happy customer
