“I am an RN in a surgical stepdown unit. I mention this to preface my view and the biggest positive change that could be made for my use. How I utilize the EKO in practice is once I assess without amplification, I make a second pass with amplification to catch or better assess the patient's condition. The feature I find both most useful BUT inconvenient to use is the ability through the app to isolate heart and lung sounds. In practice, it is not the most convenient to pull out my phone and switch between settings. This brings me to my one change I would make. As I have no use for the recording feature, if it were possible to update the firmware of the device that would allow me to cycle through the sound isolation settings directly on the device via the record button this device would be perfect. It could even alert you which setting it was on via the LED red/cardiac blue/pulmonary. Perhaps not possible but one can dream. Fantastic device regardless.”

“I am a soon to be nursing student with severe hearing loss. I wear bilateral hearing aids and using a stethoscope just wasn't possible for me. When I found EKO and purchased the Core Digital Attachment, they made it possible for me to use a stethoscope. I can hear through my stethoscope very loud and clear and the noise cancellation is just awesome. The product made me extremely emotional in a good way and I am thrilled that I stumbled across EKO. Thank you EKO for making it possible to use stethoscopes for people with disabilities like me. I HIGHLY recommend this product to you if you are reading this.”

“I had the first gen of the CORE and used it frequently but grew tired of the questions about what was on my stethoscope & the weight of it. This new version is just so much easier/lighter AND very inconspicuous! It works great to amplify sound so I don’t have to ask my patients to remove their robe or sweatshirt, etc. in order to get an accurate BP. Thank you!”

“I have had a core attachment with my Littmann cardiology since the 1st Gen. Any issue I had customer service was beyond above par! I work in primary care and it has been an AWESOME enhancement to patients care. I couldn't wait to get the 2nd Gen the second it was released! Even bought one for my Attending! Also, the app has become SO much easier to use! I am continually impressed with how Eko is always, non-stop striving to improve and make their product and customer service better. They are literally on the front-lines of changing and improving patient care! Can't wait to see what the future brings”
