“We really enjoyed our stay at the Catskill Game Farm. It was terrific fun to explore the old zoo. The campsite was fresh and had one of the best Tentrr beds we have found. As expected, the host was friendly and helpful.
This is a great place to stay when visiting Kaaterskill Falls or the old Catskill Mountain House site.
Historic Olana is just across the river.”
“Accommodations were described perfectly. Clean and comfortable. Shawn was very prompt at responding to my message. The old zoo grounds is undergoing some selective tree cutting. This obstructed some site viewing and took away from the picturesque scenery. We spent about an hour walking through the grounds. The local restaurant recommendations were great.”
“Wonderful site! Stayed in the chilly fall and enjoyed the super clean comfortable bed and tent set up. The propane heater kept us warm all night and we enjoyed all the charms of the Adirondack chairs and clamping details. The photos do not do the Mountain View justice. The grounds were also amazing and super spooky for the season. Our dog loved exploring the smells of the place and we loved seeing all of the abandoned enclosures. Would absolutely stay again and we encourage everyone to check it out too!”

“The tent looked exactly like the picture and was well equipped with any camping equipment you might need. However, we left our site for ~30 min to pick up grocery’s and returned to a random truck parked at our site with 2 males smoking. They acted like they didn’t see us and continued to smoke In the truck until my boyfriend confronted them. That made me extremely uneasy the rest of the night about our safety. Air bnb also did not provide any directions for finding/checking in to our site and I had to call the abandoned game farm directly through their website to find our site.”
