“My order arrived and the chiles were beautiful. I roasted and peeled them the next day. My only disappointment was that the medium-hot was milder than previous years; hardly any heat. Maybe I got them too early in the harvest season, but I might have to order the hot ones to satisfy my heat craving”

“Was a bit disappointed when shipment arrived and contained several spoiled peppers along with a number of spongy peppers. (Just not garden fresh as expected). I also ordered 2 additional boxes of the hot peppers for my out of state children. One box arrived in perfect condition, the other was shipped to a wrong address and has not yet been received. The store offered me a 10% discount on my "next purchase" for my spoilage. I would rather have had a cash credit or replacement of spoiled product, as I already had purchased 2 more shipments! As a suggestion, I would like to recommend that you include a gift section on your online..which asks for email address for the gift recipient, for order tracking.”

Hi Michael, Taylor Mitchell, VP of Operations here. I took a look into your issue and I wanted to personally apologize. Company policy was not followed in your case and I have had a talking to with the employee who emailed you. You should have been offered a pro-rata refund as you lost about 20% of your box. If you would like I can process that refund. I can also allow an exception and set up a free 5lb shipment of Fresh Hatch Green Chile. “Chiles arrived in perfect shape. Gave some to a local restaurant owner who used them at a wine dinner. He prepared puff pastry filled with brie with a side of pureed peaches and Hatch chile sauce. Yum and it was a hit. The best and I am telling my friends about the Hatch Chile Store.”

“Great peppers! I will definitely be ordering again. I roasted all the peppers to use in my homemade green chili and it turned out great. I did order the medium-hot and I had to use poblano peppers to tame it back a bit for my husband.”
