“We look forward to our yearly order of Hatch Chili Big Jim. It’s a big tradition around our house to celebrate our delivery. We roast them and drink margaritas. Then starts the storage process where we pack our chili’s for future recipes. Hmmm hmmm good.”

“I'm also a small consumer 81 years old, I to can't throw away money. Before my ordercame I bought some Hatch chillies from Safeway Roasted them on bbq turned out great taste and quality When my order arrived I roasted them the same way I ended up with 10oz of chillies mostly thin strips ,the rest adhered to the skins with me getting no chillies I don't know about the quality of chillies you sent, I was and am disappointed in what I received DouglasKime”

Hi Douglas, I do see that Taylor, our VP of Operations, responded to your inquiry about the problems mentioned in your review. As a Hatch native, Taylor has been roasting chile for her entire life. She offered our best advice as to why this might have happened. It sounds like the peppers were not roasted at hot enough temperatures. Chile peels the easiest when it is roasted at high heat in a short amount of time. I also see that Taylor offered a substantial discount off your next order should you choose to order with us again.
