Messed up my car insurance last year causing the police to pull my partner over after complaining was informed I will receive a refund for the amendment never happened then they even denied me ever make a Call The only reason I’ve come back again this year is because of the price otherwise I would’ve stayed completely away

As everyone else says, this company is a bunch of pirates, who scam, swindle, harrass and pull all the tricks they can...people need to boycott them 100 percent. there prices are cheap but then so is the service

The company is an absolute disgrace. They cancelled my policy without notice or contacting me verbally. I have been driving without knowledge of this for almost two weeks! Oddly they had emailed requesting at least 8 documents. I had provided them with the vast majority of the documents they requested except for proof of address. As I was in the process of moving home I had not yet received bills and proof of address. I had explained this to them via email. When I called to find out their reason, their representative said it’s because I didn’t call and that it is within their right to cancel my policy leaving me driving illegally without notice or calling me. A totally hypocritical and disgraceful organisation. This is not the way to treat your customers.

This company is the biggest scam ever in the UK please do not buy any policy from them, they are cheapest but cheatist very disrespectful and dishonest company, absolutely disrespectful to their customers i had the worst experience ever with them, they give you cheapest price then the following week or months the price will be different double,

Absolute shocker of a company. I can see below in other reviews that there are many people dealing with the same issue myself and my family are going through. We took out insurance with this "company" (more like a scam), they in turn asked for proof and documents which we were not comfortable with providing. Things that no other insurance company has ever asked me for. Because of this, we did not feel it was right to continue with them. It just felt off! We then cancelled the policy and since then they have decided to harass us with a charge of £144. Just disgusting! When we have tried to contact the company to sort this out and dispute this. They hang up on us! Please do not go with this company! Terrible terrible terrible! Causing us so much stress and upset and are having debt recovery companies also chase us who are not helpful in the least bit either.

Received my policy documents with a completely incorrect vehicle registration number. I rang them to correct this to be told there was a £58 fee to change the vehicle as I had obviously put the wrong registration number in their online form. There was no way this was the case so held while they looked into it. They came back and said that they had been able to reduce the fee to £0 be looking at their premium again. What a load of rubbish. I wish I had read the reviews of this company before using them. However, I stress not the short 2-3 word reviews written by themselves whilst watching Watchdog; the real reviews from real customers. This company obviously use scams like this all the time and probably get away with it with vulnerable customers less able than myself. DO NOT USE.

I've made 2 half hour calls in the last few weeks telling them not to auto renew my policy, yet they have still auto renewed. There is no email address for you to put a request in writing, they insist you call to cancel, then put as many blocks in place to stop you from cancelling. The car is no longer in the UK, so I don't need the policy. I gave unequivocal instructions not to renew, yet they went ahead anyway and set up a direct debit. Absolutely appalling company and I now have to fight to get them to cancel a policy I don't need.

Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with in 25 years. They do not do their due diligence and quote you a price and then return 2 days later for more money. I tried to cancel my policy and they then charge you for this. I will never use them again and will also advise friends and colleagues to avoid. Very poor.

Why on earth have I been charged £133 to pay after cancellation my polisy. I understand £50 the standard fee why cancelling a polisy but in my case where did you get this amount from?I have never had to pay such a big amount of money and after cancellation.Will never use them again and still do not understand why do I have to pay.

Although I had no problems through my policy,the company had the audacity to tell me that they were going to renew my quote after a years no claims for £150 a year dearer,eventhough they claim to be a company for the customer,I had already found a quote for fully comp,and all accident cover,for £900 a year chear than they were quoting tpft,if this is the way they t reat existing customers,I believe its my priority to alert new customers,do not use this company as they will use you even more

Scammers Disgraceful service, I got this insurance over confused.com in December my details have been on there for years and never had any issue after 2 months I received a email and letter demanding to see my v5. After providing my document I receive and email saying the month I purchased my car was wrong and they recalculated my claim and I now owe them £62 including a £50 administration fee, I tried calling them, the advisor he was rude and told me it was my fault and the charge was justified. After that I looked up there reviews on trustpilot and there were pages of people saying the same thing that they were charged fees for tiny discrepancies of information. These people will scour through ever tiny bit of information and find a discrepancie and charge you. Avoid this company at all cost!.

Awful company will never use again. Stick to some of the more customer service based ones, my car broke. And upon cancelling the pay monthly policy I was advised I would be charged £156 just to cancel? My insurance was £45 per month. Robbing c***s I’ll be glad to never deal with them again.

No reward for loyalty and I took me 5 days of calling customer services but they had a technical issue so o couldn't renew my insurance. I had to use the website to renew my insurance. Next time I will go elsewhere.

when I bought the insurance I thought breaking down was included on any distance, you didn't write anything before I bought it, after I bought it you sent me the documents with a maximum of 10 miles, it's not fair like that, if I knew I would change my choice

We changed the car and contacted them regarding moving policy to new car. The quote provided was ridiculous thus we sought insurance elsewhere at a much cheaper price. When contacting to cancel policy was informed not any do we have to pay a £50 cancellation policy we also have to pay £50 arrangement fee. In all my years driving and using insurance companies I have never come across such high cancellation fees. Where was their high level of customer service trying to retain existing customers. I would definitely not recommend 1st Central to anyone. They need to review their cancellation fees and look at customer retention rather than shafting them for fees that just aren't justifiable.

Worst company I’ve ever got insurance for, lied to me and stole from changed my policy payments without my consent or acknowledgment never called me back after telling me they’re gonna call me back serval times but didn’t every person I spoke to could not solve my issues at all do not go to this company

I cancelled my pre-paid car insurance with 4 months remaining and was informed that I was not due any refund for the unused 4 months. Cancellation fees are way to high and customer service is poor. Emails are not responded too and telephone operators lack consistent information
